The next morning, Mineah woke up early to start the day. Turning to her side, she looked at her sister Xenia who was still in deep sleep. She supposed she would have to be careful not to wake her up then. 

Carefully, Mineah quietly moved out of bed before immediately grabbing the clothes she needed to wear. She then walked toward the connecting door her room had to Nikolai's bedroom. Well, according to him, that was their official bedroom as husband and wife, so it was technically her bedroom now as well.

Shrugging, she quietly went inside and was instantly greeted by Nikolai's charming face. Mineah felt her heart pound erratically at the sight of him. It was often like this, she noticed, and she could only wonder if there would ever come a time that his simple smiles wouldn't make her heart flutter like this.

"Good morning, Mine," he greeted.
