"Damn, that took quite a lot in me." Ben sighed.
Fusion Magic drained half of both Halos and still didn't kill the darn beast. He knew he was losing grounds. Both Hellhounds couldn't kill him, but neither could he kill either of them especially with their joint effort and raw strength.
Ben used his wind element to escape an ambush from the previous Hellhound, turns out it recovered from its concussion. With the combination of two Hellhounds Ben was unfortunate to eventually step into the Formation. It felt like the weight of more than ten Hellhounds stacked on top of him.
His spells became useless, his Wind Track became just a gentle breeze. Even his Flame Burst was just a tiny spark threatening to go off. Because of the suppression he was suffocating and was sent to one knee. He tried grasping for breath but it wouldn't come.
'Ben, do you wish to activate Combat Mode?'
'What... what are...? Wait you're right! If my consciousness is detached from my... urgh,' Ben grunted due to the weight falling on him making it hard for him to speak coherently '...body, then my mind can think clearly. That way I would be able to create a Darkness-type elemental Halo so that I can... What the hell?'
Ben's rambling was interrupted when he suddenly felt a vacuum. But the thing is the vacuum was coming from inside of him, His Universal Plane to be exact, and specifically the white crystal at the center of all six Halos.
A huge roar coming from the crystal echoed throughout his Universal Plane. Then a swirl came, at first it was only the size of a cup of water being stirred, but then it became the half the size comparable to his Halo. Not to mention that a Halo is undoubtedly huge.
To the outside world Ben was just bent on one knee refusing to yield to a greater power. The pressure on his body increased, one could clearly hear bones cracking due to the force being exerted while Ben resisted. He fell to his butt and sat with his legs crossed. The eight figures looked at each other confused, even the two Hellhounds had a confused but impatient expression. They just couldn't wait to rip him apart.

The Earth Elemental Swordsmen and women were all looking pale; they have expended a large portion of the energy in their Elemental Seed. Knight Eldon had no choice but to send out Unspokens when the first line of defence was to fall which would be in an hour or two. The enemy's strongest had not shown up in battle yet, but it was like he wound have to join the battle soon.
Spellcasters are known to be a very prestigious group to any society... well, any society they wish to be noticed in. So unless there was no other option they should only be brought out as a last resort.
"Send out a group of ten Unspoken of the First and Second Class, put every one in a gap of one hundred metres so they cover more grounds. They are to support the battle from the side." Knight Eldon gave out his command.
The demons have been watching the wall very closely. The dispatching of their Spellcasters was what they have been waiting for. With the Earth Elemental Swordsmen and women already at their limit a final command was given to release the last two Hellhounds.
The summoners were scared after seeing a fellow summoners die due to his summon dying in the hands of the frost lady. But the new command later on made them glad, the frost lady was now weak after expending a large amount of energy to kill one Hellhound. So they believed and so it was.
Mia was completely drained after executing such a powerful skill. Mullin and Ander has been watching very closely since the very beginning, even after going to see Ben's side of his battle they quickly returned to Mia's side and kept watch. Seeing that she could barely stand as it is Mullin jumped off the wall with so much force that he propelled himself more than fifty metres into the battlefield.
So he continued, he avoided contact in fighting and only made powerful leaps that put the physically enhanced Elemental Swordsmen to shame. His every leap would cover more than sixty metres, and this was just casual jumps to him. Mullin made sure that in every landing of his, he would accidentally step on a few demon's head; Accidentally, hehe. Ten minutes passed and he finally saw her in the land of snow and ice she created.
"Come on child, we have a surprise for you." at the same moment he said that just when he held her arm over his shoulder and faced back to return to the wall a giant pillar of light was seen shooting straight into the sky.
All those in the battlefield, hill, wall and even beyond the city wall all saw that pillar of light. It was as though the world around the pillar of light was frozen in time.
"What was that?" Mia managed to ask despite her overwhelming fatigue weighing down on her.
"Only the Holy Church can do something like this." Mullin answered in doubt. He knew they shouldn't be able to arrive by this time even if they were alerted a lot more earlier. Even talking about the Church made Mullin want to puke. Not many people knew the darkness hidden inside that white veil.
"Have the Church arrived?"
"I don't know about that, Mia. Let's get you somewhere safe for now." another ten minutes later he returned to the wall with Mia in his hands. He got a quiet room for Mia to rest there. Ander came in after he saw Mullin's trail return to the wall. " What was that light that appeared? I can't find any traces of the Church too."
"Look over there." Ander didn't know what or how to explain things to him so instead he pointed at the direction of where that pillar of light came from.

Earlier...
Ben was later understood what was going on in his body when the white crystal in the center of his six elemental Halos inside his Universal Plane began sucking in a crazy amount of Darkness-type element into his body. When the white crystal had sucked in a substantial amount of the Darkness-type element surprising Ben it released it into Ben's Universal Plane gently and slowly. Opposite of the way it crazily sucked it in.
'Ben, it seems that the crystal has made it easier for you to further comprehend and simulate a Darkness-type Halo. With your talent in comprehension, the estimated type would be approximately 3hrs and 27mins; estimated time for simulation and forming of spell models is approximately 1hr and 08 mins. Would you like to commence process?' Lucy have an estimate of the procedure.
'There will be no need for that, I want you to store the data. I have a better idea to get us out of this situation.'
Since Ben didn't have the Darkness-type Elemental Halo much less spell model he knew that both Fire and Ice-type spells were useless, so also his other three; Lightning, Wind, and Earth. So he was left with the Light element. Because of his religious beliefs in his previous life he knew the saying 'Where there's light there can never be darkness' or 'Light prevails where there is darkness', her added that logic.
It started as a little spark when he cast the Entrance-level Light-type spell - Light Ball. He forced every magic power he could mister from his Light Elemental Halo into that little spark.
Imagine Ben in a dark confined space, he lights up a match which only gets snuffed out every time he lights it up again and again. So instead he takes kerosene and tries with a pile of woods, the light, however, isn't enough, so he adds more. He has little increase in light, but barely feasible.
What could be best to light up the entire confined space? Fuel, and lots of it.
Finally, he was able to get the light he was looking for. He could now see further than before in the confined space, but then a problem arises. The fire is too much. Spreading rapidly and uncontrollably, ending up burning through the walls of this confined space and into the outside world.
It was being released from all that built up pressure!
