The following day, April reached Acapulco before noon. Her flight was uneventful, except when the flight stewardess reminded her to turn off her phone immediately, because the plane was about to take off. She recalled she was sort of thankful to the flight stewardess, because the stewardess' warning gave her an excuse to end her conversation with Vincent. He had kept her on call the whole time she was waiting for the plane to take off, as soon as Paul had left her in the departure area. It was not like she did not want to talk to Vincent, but by doing so, she felt she might end up telling him to fly to Acapulco too.
