"Wow! You looked so lovely, Ara; it is a shame you don't have a boyfriend." My mom said the moment I got out of my room. I didn't know she was waiting outside my door.
"Mom, being single is not that bad. I am happy just being with you." I responded.
"I know you are lonely, Arabella, I am your mother, and I know how you feel deep in your heart." She replied, and I shook my head while I walked past her, and I could hear footsteps following behind me.
"Is your feet okay now, Ara?" She asked as I tried to walk straight.
