"Thank you ma'am. It's been 15 years right?" Christian asks and her expression drops.

Serves you right 

"Yes it has." My dad puts in.

"Well, enjoy the wedding. I have to take my bride to our seat." Christian says and we leave their presence. 

"You don't always have to fight my battles for me." I say

"I will try my best to fight every battle."

"Except?"

"Except your battles with me. Our battles aren't always bad." 

"Zip it."

"Yes ma'am."

After a while Christian and I introduced each other to our guests.

A wedding of convenience and new connections.

After a while it's time for the speeches.

Since I don't have any siblings my closest cousin came up to give a speech.
