章節 36: Cuddling

A ringing alarm woke up the couple who were nicely nestled in each other's arms. Furrowing her brows, zhang xioaxi tried to reach her hand on to the table which made her climb on the side of Li jie body a bit. But before she could reach there, the alarm was stopped by Li jie. Getting away from the sound, she breathed out and hugged the pillow she thought she was holding tighter.

"wait, why is my pillow hard."-thought xiaoxi who then started groping Li jie thinking he was the pillow she was holding but no matter how many times the pillow seemed to be harder.

While she was groping, the person being assaulted was in another situation. She already slept on his side body and her head was on his chest. Her hands were groping his chest and abs. her body fragrance filled his nostrils. He may be a cold person but of course his body reacts when a woman touches him and not any woman the woman who is groping him is his lawfully wedded wife. And that too in the early morning when the natural need of a man is at its peak.

Xiaoxi's hand was about to go below his abs, when he suddenly reached to hold her hand "I don't think you really want to go there wifey."

Scrunching her eyebrows "why is my pillow talking and calling me wifey?"-thought xiaoxi who then opened her eyes and looked towards the source of the voice.

Blinking her yes, she could see his beautiful features and handsome face. His nose, his lips his eyelashes, his sharp jaw not one but everything is so perfect that she totally got mesmerised.

Looking at his little wife in his arms who was totally lost in staring, Li jie smiled tucking her messy hair behind her ear he added "are you done staring? or do you still want to stare a bit longer?"

As soon as she realised what was going on, she tried to get up only to be pulled closer by Li jie.

"I just asked you if you are done with staring. but didn't ask you to get up"-said Li Jie pulling her closer and wrapping his arms around her waist.

Zhang xiaoxi was so close to him. She hugged him before, but this felt different. Her head is on his chest she was almost sleeping on top of his left side of the body. They both are under the same blanket and she can smell his body fragrance. And when he spoke his lips were so near to her ears. She felt a wave of goosebumps spread through her body listening to his husky voice.

Biting her lip, she tried to push him and get up "Li jie let me go" almost murmuring.

Raising his eyebrows, he shook his head "no, it's so good like this. Let's stay like this"

At this point, xiaoxi's cheeks were already tomato red. After hearing his words, she could feel her body temperature hiking up.

Looking at her, Li jie came near and spoke into her ears in a very raspy voice "baby, you were this close to me in your sleep all night. Then, you seemed to be comfortable but what happened now, are you trying to push me after using me as a pillow last night."

Closing her eyes, she couldn't control her emotions and closed his mouth with her hands to stop him from talking. It was too much for her to control when he spoke in her ears. She was already trying hard to control herself, but this man was determined to make her lose control.

Chuckling at her, her removed her hand "alright, I won't tease you anymore. Let's just be like this for 5 minutes then, I have to get ready"

Her heart pained when he said he have to get ready. She was strong to let him go on a business trip. But somewhere in her heart she was not okay to let him go. She was new to the place, new to people in this house. Although she knew everyone loves her dearly, she was afraid. What if they become distant in this duration? They just spent very less time and became so close. What if he changes? What if he forgets about her and change after coming home? He is so busy, what if?

Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes sighing and hugged him tighter. She really didn't want any changes in their relationship. if possible, she always wanted Li Jie to be this sweet and this accommodating. she was really scared. Her past has taught her that people change with time and feelings fade away.

Looking at her sighing, he felt uneasy. "xiaoxi, I will be back as soon as possible. And I will be calling you daily. The time difference is only 3 hours. You can call me anytime. Okay?"

Lifting her head up, she looked at him and asked, "Li Jie will you still be this sweet to me after coming back? Or will you change?

Frowning he pulled her closer, he tapped her nose "silly, why will I change? Our relationship as a wife and husband will forever be like this. I promise. All you have to do is trust me okay. Don't think much. I won't change at all. What is going on in that brain of yours?"

smiling, she shook her head before burying on his chest. He tightened his arms around her and assured her "baby, if you feel there is something on your mind, you can always talk to me. Don't just keep everything to yourself and put pressure on yourself. Okay? Didn't you say you were going back to work too? Whenever you feel like talking just call me okay?"

Nodding her head, she closed her eyes. after 10 more minutes of cuddling, the newly wedded couple got up. while, Li Jie went into the washroom to take a shower, Xiaoxi went into the kitchen.
