"So, are you mates or not?" Jasmine asked.

I was not sure of the best way to answer that question but I knew that it made no sense to try to analyse what I could not. The more I thought about it, the worse it was going to be because of how stupid I felt about how everything happened. I should have been wiser. With what I knew now, I was more sure than I was not about the fact that Olly was not my mate.

"Honestly, I do not know but I am more assured now that she is not my mate."

Olly scoffed. "Please, Finn. There is no way you are getting rid of me and even if you do get rid of me, it cannot be that easy."
