“They are.”
“Will the scars heal?”
“I don’t think so.”
The night indeed made you vulnerable and let you said something that you would never admit when it was bright. The obscurity softened your heart.
“Too bad. You have a warm soul.” Iris frowned slightly.
“I no longer have a soul.” He had sold his soul for the freedom of his people. There was nothing left of him right now.
“Yes, you have, but you are in so much pain.” Iris blinked her eyes. “Your beast is in pain. You have so many scars.”
“The only scars that I have is on my face.”
Iris shook her head meekly. “I am not talking about your face. I am talking about your soul. Too bad, you are in so much pain… what my father and brother had done to you must be painful…”
And after that, Iris closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Such a great story, really had me going.Can someone help me obtain an award by liking this comment? Pretty please...
I have never been captivated by a story like this one!!! It is so good and the author is brilliant!! I must warn you potential readers that there are many dark and twisted scenes, however seeing the resiliency of the characters his what really makes it captivating. I love the constant suspense of the story and the development of the characters. It pains me to give this story less than a 5 star review, since it has me so hooked, but here are the two reasons why it gets a 4.6 star review instead of a full 5 stars: 1. There are many grammatical errors and past pretenses that need to be corrected. Sometimes I’d go as far to say there’s broken English. I would love nothing more than to be able to edit this story free of charge to make it a better reading experience for all. 2. It is a super slow burn romance story. I don’t normally like slow burns, and the slow pace is definitely agitating; however the story is so intriguing, I can look past that an appreciate the effort the author has put in to world building and character development. It’s a very intricate story with so many schemes, I have to believe the author is an absolute genius to be able to plot all this out! The author religiously drops 2 chapters each day, which is amazing. However once you get sucked in and all caught up it will be irritating, as they are typically short to keep reader costs down and often leave you on a cliffhanger. I’m always dying for more and very impatient for more, even though the author is so consistent. I think once a month or every six weeks or so, the author does a bonus drop of 6-10 chapters and I swear it’s like Christmas. If you can handle the dark themes and slow burn, I HIGHLY recommend this story.
Well this is a very, very dark story and I mean description of children and babies death dark ( I do not think the author reads comments, because they would have known that they needed to tone the darkness down. We read books for entertainment not to have nightmares for real). It is very poorly written ( I sure it would suck in the original language as well, it is not just translation) and although we finally see some characters development the story is absolutely dragging. Too many side stories with no proper development, or closure. FL is alright but why on earth would I root for an happy ever after with her rapist??? I am still reading to see if Iris get a deserved ending…DO NOT READ AND WASTE YOUR COINS, that is my warning. ⚠️
The story is too perfect till now. No unnecessarily dragging, and every chapter is full of thriller. After each chapter I keep wondering what will happen next. Though I didn't like ML's some particular behavior with FL at the beginning, but something like that was bound to happen because of his past. Overall a mind-blowing story👍
while book is good, giving it 1 star as APP otself is a scam that constantly double charges for chapters read.. I will be reporting this to Apple!!! SCAM

⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️ I couldn’t read any further after the FL was r@ped by the ML at Chapter 10. He does have trauma but that doesn’t excuse his actions. He is unreedemable for me so have dropped. The story was had some grit and I wished I could read further but I can see it is a very dark book and believe it will continue to be that way before they reach their ending.

I love the idea of a deaf main character. Iris and her predicament are intriguing. The story does need some editing and a proofreader, which I'd be happy to help with if you're interested.

Words can't describe...how much I loved this novel..😭in love with this fantasy world...with Characters..with story line...it just blows my mind that how can somebody write such a long novel with so much perfecti...❤️❤️❤️ The character Growth of Iris is everything.😌 Fantastic books with amazing story nd lots of trauma😅..but definitely worth reading..❤️❤️❤️ Anybody reading my review go it out. privileged chapters are à huge scam. à book should at least be finished so that you Know how long you gonna have to pay for. poor grammatik and lot of unnecessary dragging. kinda wanna know the end non but not recommanding to start it
Fair warning, this book will be too dark for some as it involves slavery and awful circumstances. But omg, it's one of the best stories i've read in these types of platform so far. Would love to have this in book form with better editing because I love the story, the world building, the drama, the tension and all the character developments.it's perfect i love it. i can't get enough of it!
I would recommend reading this story. I'm hoping for a happy ending with Cane and Iris.
If You want to read this novel please go forward through it. Be prepare. You're going to have a mental breakdown. You must be mentally prepared. For me my favourite character is Iris she is the main source of Cane. I can't wait where both the character are deeply in love with each other
I stopped at chapter 233 cos the character development is dragging too long. I know it takes time but, haven't seen any single improvement on the lead characters. The FL has low reasoning skills, and the ML is still cold as ever (i meam c'mon we're in 200 + ch already). Also, too many side stories so hope the writer doesn't bombard the main plot later. If anyone is feeling generous then feel free to tell me how it's going rn and I might reconsider picking up where I left off. 😄
Characters are woefully one dimensional. Interesting concept, poor execution. Has this author heard of the concept of levity? Genuinely wondering if author is aware "dark" does not mean characters should experience every possible traumatic occurrence known to man. While I am concerned to some degree about some of the characters' well-being I am not moved to continue any further than I have read (for reference that is 10% of the way through chapter 21) I do hope the author develops their style over time and improves upon it if this is a career they wish to pursue, this work in it's current state however is lacking, tragic (not in the way the author intended mind you) and atrocious. If one has to wait for chapter 100+ to experience a brief period in which traumatic events aren't the focal point of the novel then it is simply not worth the time and energy.
seriously, you need to read this book and you will know how different the world building in this magical world. the main characters were in gray characters, as they have their own dark past.
