Aláine's Point of View

My heart was melting. I thought this was the most romantic gesture ever. I knew I was falling in love, which was entirely new territory for me. If I were indeed in love with him, I would have to accept being a werewolf.

The question was, would I be willing to do that? Admittedly, Kristof's Lycan and wolf aspects were beautiful. I would have those aspects too. Would they look like his or different?

"I wasn't scared of your Lycan because I know you would never hurt me," I said. "In fact, I thought your Lycan was gorgeous."

I put my hand on his jaw, using my thumb to caress his jawline. I could feel tingling through my fingers and wondered if Kristof could feel them as well. His smouldering look answered that, and I felt heat pooling between my legs.

"Oh my God!" I thought when he sniffed the air. "He can tell I'm aroused."

He confirmed that for me when he smirked. I decided to take my mind off that by thinking of something else.
