"What is it? Didn't you get the memo that this was meant to be a private family dinner?" Dahlia declared imperiously, pointing a fork at him. 

The guard quailed, "Yes, but this is an emergency. We have news that there's a car crash on the hills surrounding the highway!"

"What's so important about that?" Alpha Thorton frowned, sounding almost bored. "There are foolish drivers all the time. Some feckless moron lost control of his car again, despite all the signs warning them of the speed limits. How is this important enough to interrupt my dinner?"

"The description of the car matches what Master Darach was driving when he left the compound!"
