"Sir! We have to leave now!" A guard rushed in and warned Tristan, but then he got shot from behind and collapsed right in front of Tristan.

Seeing that it would be useless for him to stay and take Ryley as a hostage, Tristan quickly dashed off the room and fled the scene. 

Ryley forced his trembling body to crawl out of bed and took cover in the corner as the chaos progressed and the gunshots continued.

Ryley didn't even have the time to think how he could suddenly cross to the Mortal Realm, and now that his arms circled his tummy protectively, he got even more confused.

'Th-this...' The blond couldn't believe his eyes when he felt the difference in his lower stomach.

His brown eyes bulged in shock as soon as he looked down and saw the visible bump.

Ryley's jaw dropped at the mixed emotions that had just exploded in his chest.

Is this not a dream?

Did he not lose his child like the horrible nightmare he saw before?
