Nathan
"Nathan, you will listen to me, I am your father!"
My father barked, following me into my office space in our house. His face was twisted with worry and anger as he came to stand in front of me.
"You're out of your mind! Trying to revolt with the other Alphas, and not just that – refusing to sign the coalition with…"
Before he could finish, I spun around, every part of my body was trembling with rage. My eyes flashed dangerously as I interrupted him.
"I will not be a dog like you've been for years. A pathetic, obedient mutt who wags his tail at the feet of those who think they're superior. Those who hurt you, those who took my childhood away. I won't be controlled; not like you have been for years!"
In the earlier chapters, Lyla mentioned not seeing Nathan after he went to the human world to school when he was 14 years old. So, this is what he was sent for that earlier. Also, through out the book and in earlier chapters, I've highlighted, Nathan's erratic behaviour. I hope it's beginning to make sense now. Thank you.
