They were rewound back to the time where their feet and arms were still attached to their limbs.
Katsuki and Izuku looked at their limbs once more and tried moving them tentatively.
It hurt like hell during their 'healing' process, causing Izuku and even the strong-willed Katsuki to scream out loud.
In fact, it was even more painful when they felt their limbs disappearing, but everything was worth it the moment they saw their limbs back at their proper position.
"This feeling is familiar!" Izuku immediately exclaimed, causing Katsuki and Gran Torino, who was focused on flying these two to safety, to raise their eyebrows and looked at him curiously.
"Whenever I broke my bones and shattered them to pieces during my training, ordinary healing quirks couldn't save it or took too long to heal." Izuku explained when he felt the gazes on him, "So they always turn towards a little girl for help."
"Eri..." Gran Torino immediately knew what he was talking about. But what he didn't know was why she could produce music that had effects similar, no, identical to her quirk.
"So how can she do this? I remember that she needed to get close to the person to rewind time on him or her." Gran Torino questioned as he changed the direction to fly towards her instead of just running around mindlessly.
"I-I...I don't know..." Even with Izuku's nerdiness about quirks, this thing was just way out of his league, "I'm sorry..."
"You don't have to be. After all, it's not only you who is confused about this turn of events." Gran Torino shook his head as he started observing that all the buildings were turning back to their original shape.
'So it affects non-living things as well...?' Gran Torino narrowed his eyes.
He wasn't informed about this. Was this related to a book he recently read ten years ago? Something about 'reawakening'? Or was it something else entirely?
Although quirks had been around for about 400 years now, scientists and researchers had only touched the surface of it.
No one knew how it came first or how it was passed down. But the quirks did.
But that wasn't important right now. Gran Torino glared at the two students he grabbed, gritted his teeth, and chose to go faster.
"Did you think you could fight him? That...thing?! I don't know which Shigaraki is in control, but their quirks have combined to form an even more fearsome quirk. Even more than All for One!!"
Gran Torino couldn't help but reprimand both of them severely.
"Shigaraki's new quirk, dubbed 'Enhanced Decay' wipes anything it touches out from existence! And now?! Combined with that atomic control from the other Shigaraki, Decay can now even spread through the air at a rapid pace!
If you so much as even get within five meters of a piece of debris, you would instantly die even without touching it!! If you are ten meters away from the debris, you would still be slowly decayed.
The only good thing is that it spreads slower in the air, so as long as you're at least twenty meters away from the source, you still have a chance to outrun that spreading Decay!
So how can you take him as you are now? You can't even get close to him, much less be a match for him! Hundreds of heroes had already died before they even knew what was going on; we can't lose the future symbol of peace as well..."
"Then how should we do with a seemingly invincible quirk like that?!" Katsuki exploded.
"No matter how strong that mutated quirk is, it is, in the end, still a quirk." Gran Torino replied, "Eraserhead can still erase it since it is not a mutant-type quirk."

Ryukyu flew up to Shigaraki and swiped him with her claws. Shigaraki casually waved his hands near her claw as it approached to destroy her, but to his surprise, his quirk doesn't activate, and Ryukyu knocked Shigaraki into the air.
Aizawa also arrived on the scene and questioned why Midoriya and Bakugo were so close to Shigaraki, wondering if he was after them.
Thinking back to the time when Crust sacrificed himself for him, he angrily shouted as he glared at Shigaraki without blinking, "Shigaraki...don't you dare lay a hand on my students."
Shigaraki wasn't afraid even after being unable to use his quirk. His mouth morphed into a smile as he looked straight back at Aizawa, "You are pretty cool, Eraserhead..."
Shigaraki raised what seemed to be a walkie-talkie and spoke into it, "Kill anyone in sight."
"Endeavooooooooor!!" Ryukyu shouted, and Endeavor immediately knew what he had to do.
With his sidekick's help, his trajectory quickly changed, and he headed straight up to the flying Shigaraki.
Knowing that he can't use his quirk, Endeavor used his super move without reservation, aiming for the kill.
"Flashfire!!!"
Using the same move he did at Kyushu towards the nomu, Endeavor aimed it at Shigaraki at point-blank range.
However, even with the full power that he could muster without severely hurting himself, Shigaraki merely punched that intangible flames away from him, revealing a burnt and smoking red hand.
"That hurts, you know...!!" Shigaraki casually said, as though he had done nothing much than swatting a fly.
Endeavor was obviously shocked. Shigaraki wasn't using a quirk, and he had just used his natural strength. Furthermore, Shigaraki moves so freely in the air with only the quirkless power he wielded.
That kind of terrifying strength only reminded him of one person.
The predecessor to the number one hero, All Might.
"Is this...what a perfected nomu is...!?"

Gran Torino could hear the music playing louder and louder, and he could finally see the source of the music after about a minute of flying.
"Eri...?"
Gran Torino couldn't help but rub his eyes in disbelief as he saw Eri floating in the air without any support while playing the flute.
She didn't have her usual attire on. Instead, she currently wore a long dress, which revealed her nape and a little of her shoulders. The color of the top part of the dress was beautiful emerald green, and it gradually flowed down to become whitish-blue in color, similar to the color of her hair.
{Picture here-->}
In her hands, a green flute with intricate designs was present, and Eri slowly ended her music when she noticed that the trio was near her.
"Torino Ojii-san!"
"Eri! It's really you!" After ensuring that they're safe for now, Gran Torino went towards her and examined her closely, "Is that your quirk?"
Eri just nodded, not elaborating any further.
Gran Torino raised his eyebrow and just sighed, "Is there anything you want to tell me?"
"We're leaving soon."
Gran Torino looked up in shock while the other two didn't what she meant.
"So fast?!"
Eri just hummed in agreement as she twirled around the flute. Now that Gran Torino could get a closer look at the flute, he had to admit that it was really well-made.
"Where did you get the flute from?"
"Shido gave it to me."
It wasn't a lie; Eri just twisted the truth a little. But Gran Torino obviously realized that.
"You changed your dress as well. You look good in it."
"Thanks, Ojii-san!"
Silence descended once more. Gran Torino knew that Eri had probably gotten enhanced in powers from Shido somehow, but he didn't know how.
"Are you an...alien now as well?" Gran Torino whispered. He couldn't find a better word than 'alien' to describe Shido. He didn't have any negative meaning behind using that word; he just couldn't find a more appropriate term.
"If you're referring to my race, then yes. But my home will always be here. I might or might not return here, but it will forever be my home planet and world." Eri replied with a smile.
"Um, sorry to interrupt, but Aizawa-sensei is still down there! We need to help them now!" Izuku exclaimed, and Katsuki agreed with him, though he didn't show it.
"That's right, he's blocking Shigaraki's quirk..."
"It would've been nice if you dropped us off a little closer old timer!!"
"Gran Torino, this is Kacchan. He's..."
"The guy who knows your secret, right? Toshinori told me about it. This is the closest you should get, Bakugo. Without Eri's help, both of you would have died on the way here already." Gran Torino grumbled, "That guy's speed is faster than you can imagine. The number of people who can pursue him is limited, our communications are blocked, and what's more, he moves around with almost complete freedom. We had to put pressure on him, get him away from the people and into Eraser's line of sight...! It's already showing results."
"Tch!" Katsuki clicked his tongue in annoyance before bowing slightly to Eri.
""Thanks..."" Izuku and Katsuki thanked Eri for saving their lives, though Katsuku only muttered softly. Even if he was prideful, he knew he would have lost his life if not for Eri's intervention. So he didn't have any qualms thanking her.
It just bugged him that a child younger than him was much more useful in this situation than him.
"I'm going back to Eraser's legs...Eri, I'm ashamed to ask this from you, but will you help us?"
"That's what I planned to do."
"Are you saying...we should just hide?!"
"No. I'm saying that you should just hide. It seems like that guy's gotten All for One's quirk transplanted into him...If you end up losing one for all...consider that the worst outcome."
However, before they could all react, a large number of high-end nomus appeared before them.
All of their jaws dropped at sight except for Eri. She immediately placed the flute to her lips and started playing once more.
"Rondo. Solo."
A fast-paced song that combined the effects of Rondo and Solo. It brainwashes the enemy and restrains them at the same time. It is the ultimate song for capture and securing villains or enemies.
The nomus were usually not affected by Solo since they don't have a mind of their own to be brainwashed, to begin with.
This fact made Eri slightly disappointed. She had just gotten her powers, but she couldn't use the full extent of her capabilities during her first real battle?
In the end, Eri ditched that idea and just decided to help her teammates to deal with the nomus.
"Midoriya-san! Bakugo-san! Can you guys deal with the nomus?"
"No! I need to save Aizawa-sensei!" And without waiting for any further response, Izuku immediately dashed towards Aizawa, who was being attacked by Shigaraki. Katsuki followed him along as well.
"Sigh. Shido was right. These two are pretty straightforward and rash..." Eri sighed as she started playing her flute once more.
"March."
March is a song that enhances the listeners' physical strength. Of course, Eri can control who gets to have the buff. Otherwise, wouldn't this skill also help the enemy?
Izuku and Katsuki suddenly felt an increase in strength and knowing that it was Eri's work, both of them thanked her in their hearts and immediately aimed at Shigaraki.
As much as she wanted to, Eri didn't have time to continue looking at the duo.
A nomu suddenly rushed towards her and tried to punch her to the ground.
After becoming a spirit, Eri's physical parameters shot through the roof, and her strength and speed had increased many times compared to before. Though it didn't mean she could take a nearly high-end nomu's attack head-on.
She swiftly stepped to the side, dodging the punch by a hair's breadth. She immediately landed a kick on the nomu's brain before the nomu's punch could even reach the ground.
Her kick was packed full of power, landing on its brain before it could even turn its head around.
Eri thanked her lucky stars that the brain was fully exposed. It was basically a free target for her to attack, making it almost a shame if she doesn't hit it.
The nomu felt the impact on its brain, and he screamed. The brain splattered into glumps of brain matter, and the nomu had lost its life just like that.
A nomu that took several pro heroes to deal with was taken down by a twelve-year-old girl within two exchanges.
How scary...
