章節 39: Wedding day

TWO WEEKS LATER

The Guests happily gather inside the church where Adeline and Zeus' wedding will be held. The happy song can be heard inside as well as the happy conversation of each guest invited to the wedding.

From outside the church, Zeus was there and silently gazed at the peaceful sky but his deep thoughtb stopped and focused his gaze on nothingness.

"Are you here to make sure I don't leave Adeline at the altar?" He asked without looking at the man behind him.

"Have you decided on this wedding, Zeus?" Jacob asked.

He was silent because he did not know what to answer to his best man, the young man felt it was his karma because after this marriage. He is completely tied to the young lady he doesn't love.

Zeus remained silent and did not say a word causing his friend to sigh. He felt Jacob's gentle approach to him.

"If you're not sure about this marriage, you can  back off... Don't force yourself into a marriage you didn't want."
