Both their eyes met; making a sharp gaze her gold and sea eyes illuminated.
Rather than looking like a flash, it was a piercing gaze. Lin Cian's eyes were too dark for responding but the dark aura in his eyes started to evaporate. The black fog in his eyes started to dissipate.
Doaren could easily notice her health is getting weaker and weaker but for some reason, his legs remained rooted. His cold eyes flashed a hint of heartache, probably because Lin Tamayo's health is on the line now. He wanted to fight for her as a brother because that blockhead Lin Cian openly rejected and yelled at her. How much he wanted to kill him but he didn't think the silly girl will again save him disregarding her health.
He realized his mistake was writing a letter about hunting the beast or going for a hunt. But in his heart, he determined to drag that ungrateful bastard and force him to kneel to her and sort for forgiveness. As he thought about making things easier for his sister, he heard the growl and the cries of Lin Cian and wondered what the hell was going on.
In a couple of seconds, he got his answer. Lin Cian was fully in his consciousness and recovered now. Lin Tamayo curiously looked at him, even though her expressions were lifeless and sickly her eyes sparkled when looking at Lin Cian.
He had her in his embrace leaning a bit out to get a clear view of his face. His eyes: reluctant to get away their sight from her hence with no obligation he observed her closely. Looking at her pitiful state he couldn't help but cry. When tears welled up in his eyes and yet to downpour his emotional intelligence came to his aid.
He helplessly looked at her but the longer he looked at her the bigger her smile stretched out. It was almost two minutes but his eyes refused to move their gaze from her.
She bit her lower lips and swallowed her saliva, her heart pounded a bit faster than usual. She wasn't aware there are eight extended lances behind his body, surrounding her. She leaned in and forced her lip on his and wrapped her hands in his nape.
The response time of those lances behind him was very quick and in a blink of an eye they dug out her flesh. But at the last moment, they were restrained upon him realizing her moves. The lances barely touched her body but without worries, she tasted her juice.
His body relaxed and the eight bones were withdrawn gradually.
After a few minutes of having her hearts contend she closed her eyes and unmoved his embrace. Her body started to become colder. Upon realizing the fact that her life will end Lin Cian acted with concern and consince.
Placing both his hands on her back his eyes closed.
"Silly girl why should you do this. How can your tender body bear this... Tamo! You are really impulsive. Should I have known before..." his eyes remained closed to others not know about his emotional state.
Hmm... her noise cord let out soft mourns. Her body was loosened as if she have no strength. One would easily say she passed out but an experienced pharmacist would say she is dead. But the truth is she wasn't dead nor passed out but in the verge of each.
In other words, her body was numb, vision blurring, sense fading, noise deaf.
Lin Cian couldn't believe this to happen. Her tender but warm body emitted a cold radiance.
Lin Cian stared at her for a moment. He unmoved his body or limbs. As if breathing and blinking not exist, her metabolism rate also went down.
Realizing what is going to happen Doaren yelled. "You dare! "
Hearing the voice Lin Cian stared at him but made no voice but flashed a slight smile.
"Lin Cian what are you doing? "
"She passed out, exhausted, I am passing her my energy"
"What the hell do you think I am? I know when you use a stupid thing. Are you really have to do this? You..."
"Didn't you said, I shouldn't fail her?"
"You... "
"Let me tell you, this has nothing to do with you, I have decided and I can endure this with no issues. You don't have to worry"
"Don't have to worry? Ha.... Let me ask you now. You are the future chief of the Lin Clan. Should this happen in the future will you ignore the life of every people and do this? "
"I will do my best to protect my people as for this I will never let this happen again"
