The journey continued as they relied on Urchin and Kish's vision. They headed toward where they all started their first mission. Urchin recalled the Maximina lake as somewhere horrible but seeing how the papyrus flower grew and hightened it's water gives him the opportunity to see something ethereal.
"I am glad this place did not change. I wonder if Urchin was not floating around here then we won't be able to have our baby boy." Kiel stated making Urchin blush. Whenever his father express his affection publicly his self esteem would be lifted but at the same time he started to get shy.
Hexel rubbed Selah's back and stated.
"Baby this is where the Tale Bearers got baptist. I bet you would want one here."
Nevi, Ain, Sage,Lila and Mem can see how the three men got dramatic and poetic.
"Alright your reminiscing is done. Let us pitch the tent before it gets dark." Cyprus announced.
It was the same tent, bonfire and things to be done but for Ophir it was more than that. It was this mission that had him head over heels toward Lehi. Not until his first puppy love joined the scene. Ophir still recalled how bold and courageous it was for her to heal and combat at the same time.
This lake witness their introduction in sealing the book. Ophir kissed the white transparent ribbon and conveyed his longing. Ain and Nevi clasp their hands and teased.
"Curtain calls. You can be an stage actor..." Nevi coed.
"Oh Juliet where are thou? It's me your Romeo." Ain acted and recited the tragic lines.
"You know what, you guys helped a lot. I hope that when you get married and fall in love you will be irked by how you tease us." Hexel butt in from the background.
Ain suddenly got fiery and questioned.
"Shut up insensitive duke. Have you ever seen any other human being here than us?! At this moment marraige is not even an option."
Hexel shrink in from Ain's fiery expressions.
"Yeah, I bet you regret not picking a bride before this apocalypse befall us." Cyprus yelled.
"Well, you can just wait for Selah to grow up." Mem commented.
Hexel suddenly grabbed his sword and pointed it to Mem's neck.
"Did you mentioned my little girl's name?"
Mem did not back down and the two started to wrestle.
Ain gathered the papyrus. Fur suggested that they can take the pith and would press it so that they can write on it. Ain can applaud this foreign man's idea. He is resourceful enough to turn all that he see into something useful. Ain also heared from Cyprus that he was the one who made the wooden sword, bow and spear for the kids. Fur even crafted a tiny hammer for Urchin.
Nevi can see Ophir at daze. He can tell that it's his usual longing for Lehi. Nevi honestly felt pity unto his friend. He can't even connect with her. Kennan informed Nevi that he took a glimpse of Lehi sleeping with the child but Kennan instructed him not to tell Ophir because he might commit a decision that will lead him to blow that whistle.
He grabbed the plate and put on some meat and bread. It was the bear they encountered while traversing. Cyprus even knitted the bear's fur for Selah to cloth her self since the area is colder than the other camp they were in.
"Here Mr. Romantic. Have some bread and fish. Lehi will get angry if you skip a single meal." Nevi stated.
Ophir started tearing up which made Nevi panicked.
"What the..? Stop being overly sensitive."
Ophir gratefully eat the bread and meat.
Ophir burp and it made Nevi wonder if this guy just manipulated him to grab him a plate for dinner.
"The ringing is at the end of this shore. We don't have a choice but to do the sealing by dawn." Ophir informed.
Nevi can't believe what he just heared and quarried.
"Tell me, did you acted dramatically to draw me alone with you?"
Ophir gave him a teary face and Nevi regretted asking.
Nevi told Urchin about the plan and the kid acted that he wanted to sleep with uncle Ophir and Nevi toward Hexel.
Hexel just approved but is suspicious.
Hexel made Selah asleep and waited for midnight to arrive when he witness the shadows from Ophir's tent he silently trailed them only to find them grilling some fish and meat.
"Are you guys that hungry?" Hexel commented startling the three who nodded.
"Is this the reason why you joined them tonight?" Hexel asked Urchin.
"Yes, because you don't wake up when I tried to ask for food during midnight. But mama and papa does." Urchin notified making Hexel exit the place.
When Ophir heared that everyone was asleep even Sage. The three went to search for the crack to seal it.
They flight on air not to bother the calm water. Nevi landed when Ophir pointed that there was a strong noise coming from the left east border.
They landed to see that it was in between the land and water.
"This is a first. Usually the crack happens by the water." Nevi stated.
Ophir prepared to have his salt water and blood when a strange air blew. In a second they got surrounded by a venus fly trap.
The plant open it's mouth and started to bite them. The water got bothered by the venus fly traps attack. Urchin is about to open a trance to avoid the water from being bothered when it become tranquil revealing Kiel on the shadow with his cane and spoke.
"You could have wake me up. This plants are nature. It can be stilled."
The four of them sealed the crack and returned at the camp for the bonefire.
"We forgot something. Resh was also a time honour. No wonder the cracks were evolving. If Cyprus is time honoured then so is my father. He had the same gift with Urchin. He can mark a territory with time but not with it's width. He was known as time blotter. His gift was halfly like them. It means we losed three time honour at the same time."
