Urchin can't believe what just happened. The unidentified trance had him performing stupid things. Urchin saw how Ophir looked pale and dejected.
"I was sorry. I saw myself walking at the Maximina Lake. I heared her humming and I just thought of grabbing the flower." Urchin explained.
"Yeah, I can't see I understand but... you... see it's a little.. out of my league." Ophir replied.
Urchin exploded in shame as he cover his face.
"It was embarrassing."
Sycamore just fake a laugh and spoke.
"It's getting worst. If you won't decide now.. I don't know if you will be able to escape that trance."
Urchin sighed and replied.
"Yes, your right."
Urchin stood up and said.
"Call them all here. It is a pain to repeat such thing just to explain. I am ready."
Sycamore called them as Urchin requested.
"Saga and Ole with Kahieli will be within the circle. They might hear and see what we can't."
All of the gang held hands as Selah continued to pray from the background. Sycamore held Urchin's hand and started to pray.
"Our Lord, we come before united and as one. We are here to plead a case where in we need your utmost help. We know that you can see and hear us. Show to us what you allow us to know. Do a surgery in our heart and help us deal with our past. Let us see the solution to this problem with your spirit. Amen."
Sycamore opened a view of a forest. It had soem magical touch. They all saw a woman in her long gown witch attire. Her hat is hidding her face. Then a younger version if Kiel and Lila were tied in a altar. Later on, Lila started screaming in pain as she give birth while Kiel was unconscious. Her writhing pain was muted by the witch. Lila's silent scream and cry broke their heart. Ophir remained firm as he watched Lila painfully give birth alone.
The witch run away with the kid as Lila free herself from the altar and started crawling after the witch.
"Give my baby back." She pleaded but thie witch laughed and casted a spell at Lila.
"Forget thy heart. Hide thy pain. Exchange it with fresh memories." Lila became unconscious as the witch run away from the royal guards.
The El Oathniel guards retrieved the prince but they did not spot Lila. Her sleeping body was hid by the spell.
"The prince is alive. Victory for our Prince." They declared and destroyed the altar.
Cyrus personally shattered the altar and prayed.
"Burn this wicked object that defiled our son. Destroy it that it won't cause another shame and disgrace to anyone."
His plead exposed Lila and the King had the royal doctor aided her. Due to the spell Lila was send back to filadelfa.
Urchin clenched Cherith and Sycamore's hand. It was too much for him not to hear even his mother's cry. The witch gigled as she run.
"I have you now son royal and impure. I will make you as the sacrifice. You will be traversing all through out the river of El Oathniel. You will open a gate to the future. And for three yours your loop will end." She proclaimed.
Urchin was put in the basket. He had no roof nor name. He only had the a single scarf that was put unto him. The papyrus basket roamed all over the place.. under the rain, fall, snow and heat. Urchin was left alone being lulled by the river flow. The witch sustained Urchin with a spell.
"Milk thy drink, river thy course. Nurse thy body and grow as you are."
For the whole three years. Urchin went through such flow. The papyrus protected him from flood, storm and any disaster.
Saga can't help but sob. Urchin was left alone but he can see his sadness. He can see his questions. He can view his anger and resentment. Saga felt a comforting touch beside him. It was from Ole and Kahieli.
When the three years was completed the papyrus reached the Maximina lake. It was then that the petals from the basket covered the surface of the liquid. The caretaker of the lake noticed the uninvited curse cover the water. She tried to save the boy wrapped by the papyrus but the evil force from the petals had her controlled. She was being instructed to kill the boy. That was when the trance ended.
Urchin walked out as his back got blackened by the cave. Saga kept sobing as Kahieli and Ole did not release his hand.
"It was too much... for someone like him to only feel such pain and..." His words were caught in his throat as he cried for Urchin. Selah finished her seeking and was able to find the answer.
She run toward the entrance but she was halted by Urchin. His face were sad. There was no tears but his eyes did not carry any life.
"Urchin," Selah called.
The young prince looked up but his eyes remained ice.
Selah reach out for his face. And carefully caressed it.
"We are here Urchin."
When Urchin heared that he was not alone. His eyes regain it's spark and his eyes released it's rain.
"I... I. am lost." He spoke.
Selah pulled him into a hug and assured him. Sycamore stared blankly at ground.
"It was a cycle of wilderness. Whoever the witch was she scripted Urchin's life way too tragic."
There silence was broken when Selah arrived with Urchin.
"I got the answer. The name of the wicked got revealed." She announced.
The whole gang waited for Selah to speak when Ain and Kennan appeared from the space.
"We also found out the procedure done for it." Ain announced.
Urchin just bowed his head as Fur suggested a break to give Urchin more time to breath. Agsus helped Fur to served and prepare some snacks. That was when Selah spoke the name of the witch that opened the gate and turned their world upside down.
"LITREZ."
