"Marcel? No, I have no idea where he is. But why do you ask? Did anything happen to him?" Winters asked on the phone call. 

It was Arianna calling and honestly, it was quite surprising that she was asking about Marcel's whereabouts when the both of them were a couple and always together. 

"No, it's nothing. I just thought you were with him or something?" came Arianna's response. 

"Well, you don't have to worry much about him. I know Marcel and if he's not answering your call, he's probably busy or in a meeting or something. Moreover, tomorrow's the day when we get Chloe back, he probably has a lot on his mind and it skipped his mind to call back. " She assured Arianna. 

Winters said as well, "But don't worry, if I get through to him, I'll inform Marcel you're worried about him." 

"Sure, thank you so much," 

"You're welcome," Winters ended her call and contacted Marcel instantly. But then, there was no answer. It just kept ringing and ringing.
