章節 12: The Unyielding Soul
"Alright, I can start now," the woman said.
"Okay, what do I need to do?" Long Tian inquired.
"Just hold onto this jade and close your eyes," the woman instructed.
"Okay," Long Tian nodded, clenching the jade and closing his eyes.
His mind was calm, akin to a still lake without a single ripple.
Meanwhile, the woman began sensing Long Tian's soul through the pulse in his hand. She also began entering through it.
With her astral body, she seemed to fly towards a tunnel filled with red and blue colors.
She focused on her destination, that being Long Tian's sea of consciousness. If she reached it, entering his soul would be easy.

Rumble!
The thunderous rumble sounded, and not long after, rain fell. Unbeknownst to them, almost half an hour had passed.
In the room, Long Tian was still clutching the jade with his eyes closed.
Meanwhile, the woman arrived at a pitch-black location devoid of any colors other than darkness.
"Where am I? This isn't his sea of consciousness," the woman expressed her confusion.
She remembered that she had always been on the right track towards the sea of consciousness, and certainly, there was no place full of darkness when she entered someone else's body, only Long Tian was the exception.
But she disregarded that and still moved forward.
However, as if with every second, pressure began pressing down on her, making her feel incredibly heavy to move.
"What's this pressure? This shouldn't be happening," she muttered, taken aback.
At this point, she couldn't move at all. The pressure felt like the weight of a hundred elephants stacked upon her.
There were no signs of surrender on her face, she still greatly desired to be with Qin Chen.
"Come on, move!" She said, gritting her teeth.
As she managed to take a step forward, a violent tremor suddenly occurred.
Rumble!
An unfamiliar thunderous noise also echoed.
She felt like losing her balance and floated in mid-air, as if gravity disappeared.
But as she looked forward, her eyes widened at something far from her.
It was a pair of colossal eyes with sharp red pupils staring at her, seen from afar, it clearly wasn't human eyes...
She felt chills and froze in place being stared at by the eyes.
Not long after, another pair of eyes also emerged, and it looked like human eyes with blue pupils.
Flash!
The eyes suddenly lit up with fiery red color, and the woman was suddenly forcibly yanked out of Long Tian's body.
Crack!
The sound of cracking was heard, causing Long Tian to open his eyes. Looking at his hand, he saw the jade was cracked.
Long Tian grinned, "So, I won, didn't I?" He said.
The woman didn't answer. She was still in shock from what happened. She didn't expect to be forcibly pulled out of Long Tian's body, it felt like she was on the brink of death. She truly didn't want to experience that again.
"Hey, are you listening to me?" Long Tian said.
"Okay-okay, you win. According to our agreement, I'll be your mentor for a month and will answer whatever you ask," the woman said, albeit her tone sounded displeased.
"Haha, great. For this month, we're partners," Long Tian said with a smile.
He didn't know what truly happened when the woman entered his body. As he closed his eyes, he felt as if he fell into a deep sleep.
He didn't feel anything either. The moment he opened his eyes, he only felt the jade crack. Fortunately, it didn't shatter.
Regardless, it was a good thing.

Time flew quickly, and the morning arrived.
At the moment, Long Tian was having breakfast and was already in his full Tianzhou school uniform.
His subordinates prepared it for him since Li Yue'er was still asleep.
Perhaps today he would start searching for those items.
