/ Fantasy / Surviving As An Extra In Fantasy World Isn't Easy
摘要
Was he a pawn that would be disposed at the end or would he reach the end of the board and flip the whole board?
.............................
It all began with a nightmare…..
A nightmare where corpses were strewn across the vast land and blood flowed like a river all around.
Roy, a normal 20-year-old college student filled with hope and aspirations, found his world breaking apart, just a day after he had a terrible nightmare.
The very next day, Roy died in an unfortunate train accident and reopened his eyes in the world of the modern fantasy book he had read.
Dawn Of Legend.
A world filled with myths, legends, and dangers lurking all around.
Behind the beautiful world filled with opportunities lies a grim prospect of destruction threatening the stability and peace of the current generation.
And in such a world, he woke up in the body of an extra called Lucas whose existence seemed to be quite negligible as there was no mention of a character named Lucas.
He did not know whether this man even survived the first arc or did he even reached the academy safely.
Since most of the details are omitted, it would not surprise him if this man had died somewhere in the beginning or middle of the plot.
Finding himself in the world of the novel, countless questions come to his mind.
Is this transmigration just a mere coincidence, or are there any external factors involved in it?
Does the world have some plans for him, or is he some kind of pawn who could be disposed of, when he becomes worthless?
And the most important thing, will the future events follow as mentioned in the novel? Can a mere rabbit survive in a den filled with wolves?
Roy, who had read countless novels, knew better than anyone else that there would surely be some sort of butterfly effort that might change the plot, and the world that needs to be saved by the protagonist might be destroyed due to a change in plot.
No… No….Let's think about unpleasant things later.
As long as I can survive and gain a stable footing, I can work out something.
Roy, who was now Lucas, decided to give his all to survive in this harsh world and get stronger so that he would not get swept away by the adversaries that the world was going to face in the future.
With fierce tenacity and grit to live, Lucas strides ahead, trying his best to avoid the bleak prospect of the world ending and along the journey, searching for the secrets behind his transmigration, if there are any.

English is not my native language nor I am good at it. Sometimes I have to rely on Google Translator to translate some sentences. Still, I try my very best to write as smoothly as possible.
If you find a mistake, please comment as soon as you read because once the novel becomes long, it becomes very difficult to read all the pile-up comments in one place.

寫檢討I’ve read 80 chapters and this is my review. This story is a combination of Bloodline system and TAPOV. Overall it’s pretty generic and a bit repetitive. I’ll write both the pros and con imo. Pros: 1) The author’s writing quality becomes better as the story progresses 2) I wanted to read a novel like TAPOV, I will kill the author, and The Novel’s Extra and this fit the cake. Cons: 1) As stated before the story is repetitive. The MC gets beaten then he enters a ’special’ state and beats everyone up. 2) It isn’t consistent because when the MC was a weak Star-1 he beat up a Star-2 person. He suffered numerous attacks but he didn’t faulted but one attack caused the opponent to fall to the ground (even though the oppenent has more experience, is much stronger physically, and has recieved more training) The author chalked this up saying that there isn’t that big of a change between Star-1 and 2 but the big change happens at Star-3. Wel then sure, but then at Star-2 the MC kills 3, yes 3, Star-3 opponents (who again have more experience, are stronger, older, and have more training) single handedly but plot armour I guess. 3) Everything feels forced. I don’t know how I should explain this but instead of the progression feeling natural it feels really forced. 4) There was this one part where the MC gets caught up in a random dungeon cause of his bad luck but then blames others for some reason. 5) The author tries to make the MC a manipulatilive genius who looks at everyone as pawns (like Ren in TAPOV), but fails miserably and it ends up being cringey. I’m gonna be dropping this as of now, but may start it later. Hope this review helps others.
揭示劇透Im so glad it's back it's hard to describe in words but I feel extremely satisfied with the return of this novel
I was waiting a long time for this story. Glad that it’s back. The beginning is already better than the other version, in my opinion. I really like the characters and world building. Very excited to see how this is going to develop. Great job. Really. 👍
since this the first review, i'll be as positive as possible. The book has better start than the original which is understandable since it was your first time writting a book. There is little world building so i can't say much about it but so far so good. The writting quality is kinda of a mess since you give male characters a female pronouns (She/her) and female characters a male pronouns (he/his) but everything else is fine and mostly accurate, although it would've been better if you wrote the main characters scenes in first person's point of view(which is what you did in the original), like instead of writting Lucas it should be 'I' because it gives us the sense that we're experiencing what the protagonist is going through and know how he feels instead of it being narrated to us. lastly, and it's an problem for us readers of the old book, the updates are probably going to be 7 chapter a week, which is great for new readers but for us who knows close to 250 chapter ahead, it's leaves a lot to be desired and the amount of waiting we have to wait just for it to catch up is astonishing while also including the possibility of buying chapters that are almost the exact same as the original again is not satisfying. For a rewritten book it's a massive step up and as for a new book it's an excellent start that immediately makes you want to know what's next is going to happen.
yo, author san, I am so happy that you have not abandoned this great book, I've been waiting for so long for the original version to continue and I did not even know you restarted this book. First review let's see what this new version had to offer. I've waited for an eternity meanwhile there's a new version.
Let's go I'm so glad to see that The Extra's Survival is finally back. This story was actually pretty decent. Though Author you should drop a chapter in the original novel saying you're moving it to here as a ton of people don't actually know that.
I liked the first version as well. I think I like this one better thou please don’t stop writing this time. I’m waiting for the updates to start again frequently. Overall I am really enjoying the story please upload soon.
Guysss this is the novel we waited for let's give all our support and power stones to it...and author you better not stop writing it. 🐥
The story doesn't have much depth, Some characters are interesting whereas others are disappointingly bland, pacing is unusually slow and updates are also not stable and grammar is you can say chaotic.
after reading 50+ chapter i can confidently say author has gotten a lot better from extra survival days and extra survival was amazing so i don't need to tell you rest
wow, 😳 I never knew you restarted,I only found out because my friend nameless told me.so happy it's not dropped.
Oh cmon author. Why you suddenly dropping this? The plot is already starting. Cmon author continue this! We barely know the plot.
there are still grammar mistakes but it is better than the prequel i personally really liked the back story of mc and how he seems human
This is a good novel, which is surprising for this overused trope of transmigration. I was following the original novel but I see that this rebooted version is better and covers most of the flaws of the original. I wish the Author good health. Hats off to the Author for his hardwork and the great work !!!

While writing this review , i've read 17 chapters. And i don't see myself going further. Let's start with the pros: - The world is a bit different from the worlds we are used to see in novels about extras or villains transmigrated in books. - They are some comic moments . - The main intrigue seems interesting . - The interactions are well written . - We know about Mc's life before his transmigration. - The author made an effort by rewriting this book , whose original version was " The extra's survival". Now , onto the cons : - The pace is too slow. I get the feeling that the first chapters are unnecessarily dragging. ( honestly, the author could have taken the 4th chapter as the first one and nothing would have substantially changed) - The characters are not entertaining. First, the Mc is unninteresting. We mostly care about a book's plot because of its Mc. However to me , the Mc appears rather bland ( a bit like a sympathetic guy but with nothing peculiar about him ). Then , other characters are not so better. Characters such as Frost And Charles appeared childish to me ( for me , their introduction was bad). The vice-principal was the only intersting one. ** I won’t be difficult regarding characters, as they haven't been shown much for the time being . - There are too many mistakes. I command the efforts of the author who tried to construct interesting sentences and give it good structures. However, a good structure is not worth it if they are so many mistakes. I'm not a native english speaker, so i'm rather lenient with authors (grammar-wise ). But there are so many mistakes in this book that it is just too painful to read. Plus, one should take into account that it is a rewriting . So one can expect and should be delivered more than this level of writing. Moreover, the author, albeit asking himself people to point out his mistakes so he could correct them, doesn't do so . I can understand that the author has a life beside writing. However, this is not a reason to not take time to correct mistakes( especially when others have already pointed them out for you). I sincerely hope that the author will put in more efforts to emprove his english . - The updates aren't regular. As i said , the author has a life aside from writing , and it's understandable that he posts chapters when he can. However , if he stocked chapters( 10 at least) and chose to publish two per weeks , it would be easier for him and for his readers. Regular updates is the way to retain one' s audience. Remember that there are many new books and new authors out here everydays. If one wants to have a stable audience , this one needs to be constant in his updates. So i encourage the author to work harder regarding this matter. I whish all the best to the author with his writing career. And i wish that he will do justice to his good ideas by improving his writing skills.
