Stronger From A Sapling

1. Grammar sucks. I hate to say that I would rather read MTL than this. 2. World background is unclear. It was said that MC time traveled, to what year? No one knows. And it also said that he came to a planet 'similar to where he lives before'. So, is it Earth or not? No explanation. Is it time travel or transmigration? No explanation. 3. Story development is absurd. It is like reintroducing mana type of novel. The idea is great but how can they classify the strength system of humans and beasts alike to a high degree and develop medicines to enhance abilities IN ONE SINGLE YEAR?? I MEAN, HOW THE HECK?? Are apocalypse and R&D a joke to you? And do you know why the world changes? Because of system! Why is it like that? How is it possible? The answer is: plot armor. You just shut up and read. 4. MC. Last but not least is our dear, beloved, and shining MC. There is one reader I notice commenting on MC's retardation, the absurd situation, and many more. You should read it, his is more refreshing than mine. In my opinion, MC (who is now a tree) is distressed by the oncoming war between humans and beasts. In one place, he is a former human, and in another place his subordinates hates the humans for a perfectly normal reason. The humans killed and ate their kin and descendants. So, MC decided to stay in the sidelines and keep neutral. A satisfying scenario you said? Yes, except that MC is a hypocrite. He killed the beasts for exp but let 2 girls go after he ordered a poisonous snake to bit them and then ask his subordinates (beasts of course) whether what he'd done was right or wrong. That's cruel you said? Heh. Why is he interested with them? The girls are young and beautiful. I really want to call the police. To no surprise after that MC is discovered by human and then human attacked and then people died and then human's fiancee take revenge and then MC slaughter their whole family....Nope. The MC decided to keep the fiancee in the forest with him (that lecher). The fiancee apparently wanted to kill one of his subordinates, the MC knew and even told his subordinates of it, yet still decided to keep her. I'm speechless. MC's idiocy know no bounds. His subordinates who saw their master caught in a 'honey trap' wants to kill her but MC punish them in a heavy-handed way and single-mindedly protect her. What is his explanation you said? I AM THE KING! ....At this point I really pitied them and began to hope for them to riot, start a coup, backstab the MC, rip his body to pieces and distribute it among themselves.

First off the main character has strong human morality. Which doesn't make sense at times. (The main character kills most other living creatures but when 2 very young (guessing 14 yo) These girls come along he feels a great sexual urge and doesn't touch them. Awhile later he now made her lose her memory and touches her while she is sleeping.. Then there is a bunch of cognitive dissonance he has and he is very stupid. And all the other animals he has is actually alright. Except for the fact a creature 2 times stronger than him is subservient.

The mc is a massive hypocrite who only knows how to think from his balls.That bastard does not want to stand out and let humans find him but he just frees people when they were trying to kill him why because he believes he will be a traitor to humanity. Oh my God! And he yells at the people (beasts) who actually care about him. He also favors humans more than his subordinates. Aand don't even get started in the translations. Reading it I thought my brain explode from all the grammar and Mc's hypocrisy. If you like hypocrite mc then you can read it. But I'm dropping it.

This could be a really good story. I do love the concept, but the execution has not been that great. Granted, I am only about 30+ chapters into the story, but this is enough to give me pause about a number of issues. 1) Next to no character development from anyone. Even the MC at the very beginning didn't really have much emotion one way or the other when finding out he died and has been reborn with a system. 2) The MC is all about getting along with others when it is little girls, but is kill them all when it comes to anybody else. He does not take into consideration his followers feelings at all and just says 'get over it'. His subordinates have major issues with humans as they have killed the families of nearly everyone they know and the MC just does not care. Granted, this could be because he was human originally but it comes across as a little kid sticking his fingers in his ears while screaming, "Lalalalala!!! I can't hear you" so that he does not have to deal with the situation. 3)the MC is a pretty big pervert. While it never explicitly states how old the MC is, I get the impression of someone who is at least late 20s or older. Because he is a tree now, he thinks its perfectly okay to ogle 2 little girls who are bathing in the lake. From the wording of the chapters, I was under the impression of 10-11 year olds who looked like they were 13-14 years old. I might be wrong, but that is how it came across to me. 4)The grammar is not great. I would have to go back and reread certain sections a few times until I could finally piece together the meaning of the sentence. 5) I noticed that the author made it a pay to read starting at chapter 43. I am having issues getting through to chapter 33 without any real story or character development. I refuse to pay to read the rest of this. 6) There is no real guideline on how the MC can actually improve himself. What I mean by this, is that at the end of the very linear growth (at least where I am at), the system says he now needs to evolve. That is all well and good, but a chapter or two later, the MC decides to strengthen his roots and become immune to fire. At what point did the MC have the ability to perform this. It seemed to crop out of nowhere. I think this is all I have for right now. Again, I feel like this could be a really great story concept, but a number of issues need to be addressed.
