章節 2: I NEED HELP
Sun rays hit Julie's eyes as she struggled to open them. She thought she was in her room but shock engulfed her when she realised she was lying among the bushes.
"What the fuck!" She started and gasped.
The sudden reality hit her when she found her self only in her undergarments and the soreness she felt between her thighs explained it all too. Tears flow down her eyes and she cried .
"No...I hate myself now! Why me?"
She looked at her side, her white dress was there, stained with blood, her blood. Thanks God her slim bag was there too she took her phone and called the first person she thought would help her, Bethany.
"You whaat!" Bethany screamed over the phone after Julie explained to her what happened.
" Ok...hold on. Am coming for you"Bethany said.
Julie covered herself with her hands, crying hard. Bethany did not take more than 20 minutes and she was there.
"B..Eth am ..a let ..do..wn" she cried in Beth's arms.
"Shhhhhh...it wasn't your fault"
"Why me? "
"Don't cry Julie let's report th...."
"No! If it is the police no! I don't want my parents to learn about this. Besides, I think he is just a goon and I will look like a fool saying a father raped me"
" What will you do now, huh?"
" I need help Beth but I will just have to do it alone."
"Am here with you. I will help you no matter what"
"Thanks" Julie muttered and cried hard
"Ok...since you don't want your parents to be involved, I will take you to my home and let you freshen up, okay?"
Julie nodded her head and Beth helped her get up.
*. *. *. *
"He escaped, just like that" Julie muttered as she lied on Bethany's bed, eyes on the ceiling.
"That bastard!" Bethany cursed
This was later in the afternoon after Bethany and Julie went to look for priest Moses and confront him. But it was a shock, he had already left, together with the sister who was cleaning his office.
" Am afraid Beth. What if am pregnant or worse, contracted an STI?"
Bethany looked at her pitifully and said
"You will not contract an STI but if you are pregnant, please don't abort"
"You want me to keep a rapist child? What about my parents? What will I tell them?"
"Relax Julie. Fix up . We are going to the hospital"
A tear escaped Julie's eye and she said to herself
" I'll have to do it"
