I wake up. I yawn. I look around. Wait…why am I acting like that? The author must be lazy. He isn't even trying.
Anyway, my work is done. The mana circulation path is ready. I don't feel anything out of the ordinary.
But the time isn't right! It's night. When did it become night? I didn't notice. I look around and find that I am in my parents's home.
I was sleeping in my own room. But did I go to my room? And there's no one else here.
I should go and see. I leave my room and open the the door opposite to my room. Fay and Hazel are curled up on the bed.
Both of them are sleeping together like sisters. Their relationship was always tacky but somehow it became really good. They don't glare at each other and don't bicker.
It was only Hazel though who used to pick a fight but she has totally accepted Fay. Maybe she still has some dog like behavior.
Only Aura and Eden are missing. I go downstairs and open the master bedroom door. They are sleeping there.
I fell asleep after I started making my mana circulation path. It was an autonomous process so I don't have to be awake for it. But now everyone else is asleep and I alone am awake.
I enter the drawing room and sit on the sofa. I think the pace is too slow. At this rate, it'll take years before I even leave this planet.
(Then why not just annihilate them right here and now?)
"Don't talk so suddenly and don't give me such a dangerous idea. How can I kill them when they aren't even here?"
(I think you are forgetting something. You have a weapon too.)
"A weapon? I only have aegis and my spirit gun."

Suddenly I am feeling sleepy again. I was sleeping until a moment ago. How can I feel sleepy again?

I lie down on the sofa and close my eyes. But a dream to check my mental condition, sounds weird. Maybe it's one of those dreams again. And I fell asleep.

I open my eyes. It's dim. There's not enough light to see everything. But I am feeling comfortable with this.
I think I should try to move a bit. But when I try to move my arms, they don't move. I can clearly feel them but like something is obstructing the movement.
Same with my legs. I look at my arms and legs. How did I not notice such a basic thing?
I am not standing neither lying down. But I feel like I am hovering. Currently I am crucified.
I remember. I saw myself in this state in my previous dream. I was serving as a power source for this planet.
Then I am probably having the extension of that dream. Sounds like a soap opera.
"Hello." I say.
I don't think there's someone else here but I wanted to see. But it became brighter. Someone must have turned on the lights. This is a bit too dazzling for my eyes.
So I closed them to get used to the light. After getting used to the light, I looked again to see who it was.
And, it surprised me to find the person who had come.

Gregor_americana I have been working on this chapter for a week. And still nothing. I am drawing a blank. The pace has dropped as well. I think it will go on for a long time.
