章節 19: Announcement!!!
Hello all you beautiful souls.
So i will post the next chapter in the morning, (12/18/24) but i will also be posting another chapter as well. This one is actually something ive been cooking up for a while, and ive finally finished writing some of it, so i would like to post the first chapter and see what you all think of it?
This is the synopsis.
Maul the Hunter is a tale of a timeless warrior cursed with immortality, a man who has fought and survived countless battles, slain gods, demons, and those who claim to be immortals, but finds himself unable to escape the true enemy—time itself. Maul is trapped in a never-ending cycle of loss, watching as the people he loves age, die, and fade from his memory while he remains ageless and burdened with the weight of eternity. His journey has taken him through forbidden pacts, wars, and heartbreak, and yet his greatest battle is against the erosion of his soul.
Once an instrument of divine wrath, Maul served the ancient Order that worshipped him as the "Hand of God." For centuries, they treated him as their weapon, feeding his rage and using his power to maintain their control. But as time passed, Maul grew weary of being a tool for their zealous purpose. The Order's blind devotion suffocated him, and in a moment of quiet rebellion, he walked away—abandoning everything they had built for him.
Now, free for the first time in centuries, Maul faces a new kind of struggle. He must fight not only against the demons and gods that threaten the world but also against the darkness within himself, seeking to reclaim his lost purpose in a world that no longer fits his fractured soul. But his defection has not gone unnoticed. Cardinal Seraphius, one of the leaders of the Order, will stop at nothing to drag Maul back, believing that the warrior still owes him everything. As Maul evades the relentless pursuit of the Order, he must navigate a world that is constantly shifting, where both allies and enemies are as dangerous as the passing of time itself.
