(author note)<hello readers, I will be taking some time off from writing as I will be more busy with work in the following weeks ahead but I've been Thinking about this novel and where I want it to go and I have been thinking about restarting this novel to give a more in-depth story in the new one, but I don't know yet so should I restart it or not so please leave a comment below of your thoughts and I am also currently working on creating a discord sever where writers and readers can come together and chat about their novels>

Mike started to wrap his hands before he hung up a punching bag on a hook and started to throw some light jabs as he imagined his father was the punching bag and after throwing some jabs Mike started to punch harder and harder before he suddenly felt his mom talking to him saying
"That's it….. let it all out my little boy…. I'm here for you"
Mike stopped and looked around and only saw the maid who watched everything Mike was doing before he continued and started to hear his father in his ears as well while he heard his mother at the same time as his father causing Mike to get progressively more aggressive
"you will always be my little angel"
"Im sorry Mike but I have to go now"
"Remember Mike, never seek out a battle but train for the day it comes for you"
"There are things you don't understand son but what I do is for you, in time you will understand"
The voices continued as did mikes anger before he yelled out as he punched a hole through the punching bag before sand started to leak out of the bag
"Shut up!!!!!!"
Mike after realizing what happened felt a little dizzy and fell to his knees before the maid came over and asked Mike who was desperately holding back his tears while he saw his hands bleeding slightly
"Mr.grant?! Are you alright?"
Mike casted [Self-Heal] on his hands and said as he looked away from the maid
"I'll be fine, I just need a moment"
Just then the maids tablet that she had been holding rang and heard another maids voice say
"All maids, Dinner will be prepared soon, please escort our guests to the dining room"
Mike took a hand towel that was in one of the baskets that said 'Free Use' and said as he began to wipe of his off sweaty body while having his back to the maid for her to see mikes scarred and tattooed back in shock
"I guess my time here is up and you can send the bill for the punching bag that I broke"
The maid stuttered a little before she walked over to the door and waited for Mike to be ready
"I-I'll be waiting for you before we leave for the dinning room"
Once Mike was dressed again he followed the maid where he met up again with James(his father) and the chairmen before they reached a large oval table with candles and a chandelier over it before the maids said in unison
"Please take a seat, the masters will be here momentarily"
The chairmen sat down and said as Mike and James both sat down with Mike making sure the chairmen was in between them
"We are hoping to resolve this issue you have with Gideon so let me do the talking"
Mike heard the doors open and nodded to the chairmen as Calvin and the Grames family sat down before Calvin said as he sat down
"I apologize for the wait, we had to have a short family discussion"
The chairmen said as everyone was getting seated with Gideon seated next to Calvin across from Mike and a young girl that looked to be in kindergarten on the other side of Calvin
"That's okay, we didn't wait long but May we resolve the situation with the young master Gideon and Hunter Grant before the food arrives"
Calvin said as he pulled out a white gem that was the size of a baseball and handed to Mike
"Yes we will, hold this please Mr.Grant"
Mike looked at the gem in his hand and wondered what it was meant for before he saw the Gideon was also handed one from Calvin before he said as he saw Mike was confused
"Those gems you are both holding are called Truth orbs, they respond to if you tell a lie and we will know because they will slowly turn black when you tell a lie and remain white when you tell the truth"
Mike was surprised by such an item and asked
"How did you acquire such a item?"
Just as Calvin was going to speak the little girl next to him jumped up on her chair and said proudly with a voice the fitted a woman in her mid twenties
"I acquired these from an S-Rank dungeon called The Liars Tomb"
Mike was dumbfounded and confused by the little girl speaking with an adult voice before Calvin hit her head with his cane and said to the young girl
"Izzy, no jumping on the furniture"
Izzy pouted a little and sat back down before she said to Mike who stared at her from his shock
"I apologize if you thought I was a little preschooler girl but I'm actually past my twenties, S-rank hunter Izzy Grames at your service"
Mike nearly dropped the Truth orb in his hands before he asked
"Y-Your S-Rank?! But you look so young and sweet?"
Izzy sighed and jumped off her chair and backed up a few feet before Mike and the others felt the air turn cold and dark before a armoured skeleton horse came out of Izzy's shadow along with a few small skeletons and said
"Looks can be deceiving, but with my class I can handle hundreds of monsters alone but my dream goal is to achieve the rank of National Hero"
Mike looked confused before the chairmen said as Izzy made her way back to her seat
"That's an admirable goal to go for as all hunters should aim for those heights above S-Rank"
Gideon spoke after the long silence saying while avoiding eye contact with mike and the chairmen
"Can we get this over with? I want to eat"
Calvin nodded and looked at Mike as he asked the simple question
"Did you hurt my grandchild when you joined his expedition team on a raid?"
Mike held the orb clear enough for everyone at the table to see and said
"Physically no as he easy beat me up but I say this with respect, when I said I didn't recognize who his family was he started to throw a tantrum like a child"
Gideon was about to burst out screaming before Calvin and Izzy gave an intimidating stare that made Gideon sit back down before he asked Mike
"Did you break his arm at the start of the altercation?"
Mike shook his head and said
"No, it was Violet of the Majestic Beasts Guild but I ask you spare her any punishment as she only did it for me alone so I will bare the responsibility"
Calvin and the others looked at mikes gem to see it was still purely white as it was before Calvin turned his head to face Gideon and asked him
"What made you interact with Mr.Grant before the fight broke out"
Gideons gem began to show a small grey area in the centre as he said
"He disrespected me and the family when I wanted to take a photo of him and his familiar"
Calvin and the others saw the small grey area in Gideons gem before Mike felt the chairmen pat his back as Calvin asked Gideon
"Did you strike Mr.Grant on the purpose of him not knowing about our family?"
Gideons gems grey spot grew larger as he said
"No he spit on my face and insulted the family saying that were garbage to be treated as such"
Mike smiled a little before Gideon looked at his orb and said as he tried to hide it
"This thing must be broken! I'm telling the truth I swear!"
Mike saw the gem start to turn pitch black as Gideon tried to hide it before it suddenly appeared in Kaitlin's hand and said as she handed it over to Calvin
"Shame on you Gideon, just because someone might not know about our Family doesn't justify you attacking them"
Calvin held the blackened gem up infront of him before it slowly went back to its original white colour and said as he pointed at Gideon with his cane
"Go to your room and wait for my arrival to give you your punishment"
Gideons head drooped down before he obediently walked out the the room before Calvin turned to Mike and said as the maids and chefs began to set the table full of luxury and exotic dishes
"On behalf of the Grames family, I apologize for what my grandson has done to you"
Mike sighed in relief and said before everyone started to dig into the food
"As long as the issue has been resolved as that's all I wanted"
Calvin smiled and said as he raised his glass and said as the others raised their glasses as well for a toast
"A toast to Mr.Grant! Cheers!"
"Cheers!"
