章節 52: First Day In The Team
Emmy left the café mentally exhausted, he had learned so many things today, if he had a phone he would've searched on the internet about those devices that Miss Sofia claimed to be the only one in existence because anytime he asked of how she got them, she would simply ignore him or give him a teasing answer.
Getting home with exhaustion, Emmy went into a deep slumber after eating. Thankfully, he had done his daily quest in the morning before leaving for school and so he was free to sleep without any worry.
The next day, Emmy did as it was planned asking Captain Karim if he knew of any football training around the school district which he said yes.
They did a little arduous training, none of the senior students have managed to performed the combined skill of Shadow Move and Tiger Strike properly even Promise fails to sync her concentration, the Coach trains the first and second year students leaving the third year to practice by themselves.
The training ended after one and the half hour, Emmy left the school together with Karim as soon as their training ended, heading to the nearest football training that Karim claimed to be down the street their school is located on.
They walk deeper into the street for half an hour, the street is lively, full of people and well civilized, tall buildings here and there and a few manufacturing industries. When they got to the field, there are about twelve students training on the field.
It's a local field meant for training young teenagers and adults, a middle aged man stood outside the field in front of a long audience chair sorting out some paper.
"That's the Coach, let's go meet him."
Karim said as they walk towards the man from behind.
They approached the Coach and told him the reason they were here, the man looked at both of them and asked if they are both joining the team in which Emmy claimed to be the only one joining.
He was asked a few question, starting from personal info then what he knew about the world of football and sport as a whole. Emmy answered the little he did know and hope that it would be enough, after the questions were asked, the Coach told him he would need a guarantor to signed his form or a guardian to attest to his form which Emmy had none.
Karim claimed to be his brother and can do it for him but the Coach said Karim he is too young to sign a form for him which Karim argue back saying he is over the age of eighteen. The Coach smile, then gave them the form to fill.
After the form was filled, the coach gave him a few written test and a show of skills on the field. He did the written test in a few minutes and then moved to the field to show his skills.
The students that trained on the field stopped their training and watch him as the coach gave him a set of skills to perform. Most of them he failed while he succeeds in a few of them.
He was asked to do 20 ball jog, run 200 meters, dribble through a set of cone and a few other training that Emmy haven't done before. As he displays his skills, many students keep entering the field joining others that have come earlier.
After everything was done, the coach recorded his points and he was placed in the U-15 class, the coach claimed that with his skills, he was supposed to be among the U-13 but his intelligence is higher than that and he can improve his skills, so he was placed among the U-15.
Karim left after everything was done.
And like that, he had joined a football training club completing his second part of the main quest.

Emmy ignored the system message focusing on the matter at hand.
Their training schedule is from 3pm to 6pm every Monday and Wednesday while 9am to 3pm every Saturday. Emmy felt bad, he had requested three days off from Miss Sofia in his work which include Wednesday, Friday and Saturday thinking those three days would be the same as his training day but Monday fucked it up. He isn't fully sad because the Coach said that the senior team train on Fridays and he can come to watch their training to improve himself.
The total money he would pay is 80 Chints in which thirty is for his monthly training due while fifty covers the form and everything that would be given to him or needed during his time in the team. Including training kits and medical kits. His training due is monthly which means he would be paying 30 Chints every single month.
Emmy had no problem with that and thus, he begins his training today. He was briefed the team rules and regulations by the team captain who had qn unpleasant look on his face as he briefed him. Many people stared at him in disgust and he could hear a few of them saying he was supposed to be among the U-10 as they walk past him.
'First day in the team and I already had haters, curses.'
Emmy knew he would have people that hates him because of his lack of skills but this is too much, for the whole team to become his haters, he should at least have someone that's neutral not willing to be his friend and nor his hater.
Some students walk past him and call him different names, he hasn't spent up to an hour in the team and he had gotten this much attention, he wondered how he would cope in a month.
'Well, same as I've coped in school.'
He wondered what had triggered his team mate to hate him so much like that in a few minutes, display of poor skills shouldn't have caused so many haters as such, he's sure there would be someone that his skills are poorer than his' among them so he wondered what caused it.
That's when he heard a familiar name called from behind.
"Hey Dumpling."
Looking back, he saw a group of three students walking towards him. Among them, he recognized two because those two are first year students in his school and come to the football club every Wednesday in school.
'Did those bastard badmouth me?'
Now it made so much sense, those two bastard must have said some shit about him and thus the whole team turned their back against him. He wondered what they have said to give him that amount of bad influence.
'Well, I expected this as much.'
He knew there's no how he would go to a training without encountering someone from his school in the same training, it's just impossible. Now that it's an expected outcome what was he supposed to do. Fight them and make his bad influence increase as a trouble maker on his first day in the team or run away or let them beat him so the whole team will know he's a trash.
No, he can allow the former to happen but he's giving no chance to the latter, Emmy is not going to live as a trash here again in the football training, so he's going to stand his chance even if he would be beaten to death. He won't stand and watch like a fool as they beat him.
And for some reason, Emmy isn't scared as he stood calmly watching them walk towards him.
'Huh, what type of feeling is this.'
He knew the feeling very well, it's how confidence felt, the feeling of confidence.
"Oh dumpling, it's nice meeting you here, who would've thought our little dumpling would join a football team to improve his poor skills."
One of the boys said.
Emmy look at them with indifference expression clearly written on his face.
"And who might you people be and what do you want from this little dumpling."
Emmy asked as he stared at them calmly.
"Oh my, it seems our little dumpling didn't recognize us, or maybe he's just trying to put up some act."
The boy said with a playful smile on his face.
"I said what the f*ck do you want from me Bastard."
Emmy shouted with all his might, his voice came out clear with so much action and his fist clenched.
Immediately, all attention was on him and the three boys.
'Well, that should do.'
