Aizawa was not having a fun day. A week prior, they went through the usual entrance exam hell on grading the examinees, which was a bane for the underground hero's schedule.
His sleep schedule was fucked up as it is already, it doesn't need to get even worse.
But no, leave it to the RAT GOD to find a way to mess with him some more. Of all the students that could be placed in his class, he just had to get THE problem child of all problem children.
Izuku Midoriya, a.k.a. if-you-so-much-as-threaten-the-teen-with-expulsion-that's-going-to-get-taken-out-of-your-paycheck Midoriya. Damned RAT GOD and his wily ways of blackmail.
He needed his juice boxes for optimal energy output, damnit.
Groaning, Aizawa inched forward, the various students still roaming the halls looking confused at the vaguely caterpillar shaped hero. The new students, at least. Those who were a year higher ignored Aizawa's actions and went on with their day.
As he slowly got closer to class 1-A's classroom, a pit slowly formed in his stomach. It got worse when he heard a bunch of noise coming from said room. The closer he got, the more he made out that the noise were just in fact, laughter and a bunch of chatter.
Not a good first day in his opinion. They weren't taking this seriously enough. Hopefully, he'll be able to beat it out of them in the following months. That is, if he didn't expel one for being a hopeless hero candidate that somehow got in because he was lucky.
Now next to the doorway, Aizawa peeked in without being noticed. At least his stealth skills were still up-to-par. That was until he noticed Izuku looking at him with a grin, but the white-haired teen ignored him anyway as he continued chatting with the other teenagers in the room.
In fact, there was a brunette just right in front of him talking to the anomaly. A harsh way to call the teen that, but there just wasn't any other term that could fit Izuku.
'Well then, they've chatted long enough. Time to introduce myself.' Aizawa sighed and slowly stood up along with his bright yellow sleeping bag.
His visage brought pause to noise, silence prevailing amongst the incorrigible chatter amongst teenagers.
All the while Izuku smiled as he watched Aizawa rise to his feet. The brunette in front of of the, meanwhile, looked confused.
"Eight seconds. It took all of you eight seconds to quiet down when I entered the room." Aizawa suddenly intoned, causing the brunette to jump slightly as she twisted her head towards the black-themed man. "That's just not rational enough in our line of work. Get to your seats."
The growl in his voice echoed through the room and the teenagers not currently seated quickly made their way to their designated seats with hurried steps.
"My name is Aizawa Shota, your homeroom teacher." The black-themed man said aloud as he made his way to the teacher's desk. He then took out packets of gym-issued uniforms that were hidden just underneath the desk. "Now, before we continue with our regular sessions, put these on and meet me outside, in the track and field section of the campus."
His words left hanging in the air, Aizawa made his swift exit, all the while the teenagers looked at him flabbergasted and equal parts curious. Let them, they'll have their reality check soon enough.
As he exited the room, Aizawa inserted his right hand in his right pocket, fiddling with something hidden within.
"Your timer starts now." His whispers flowed through the wind, with nary a person around as his witness.

"That went well, in my honest opinion." As usual, the undaunted form of Izuku echoed his thoughts across the room, the rest of his classmates looking at him like he'd grown another head.
"Well? From my perspective, it looked like our teacher hates us." A ravenette with a ponytail retorted with a slight frown.
"Yeah, like, come on dude, you see his eyebags?" A blonde teen with spiky hair grinned like a loon. Upon closer inspection, Izuku noticed a black streak on his left side, forming a sort of zig-zag pattern, kind of looking like a black thunderbolt.
Looked cool in his honest opinion.
"Uh… Should we not, you know, antagonize our teacher?" The brunette from earlier, Ochako Uraraka as she introduced herself to Izuku, twitched in her seat. The sudden scare from the black-themed teacher from behind shook her to the core.
She was never good with jump scares, damn horror films.
"That is a spectacular idea!" The blue haired teen that called Izuku out during the orientation in the entrance exam suddenly bolted from his seat. "One we should not be dallying about."
After he said his piece, he rushed towards the packets of gym uniforms all laid about on the teacher's desk. They were even numbered accordingly to their seat number. If that wasn't enough, they were also tagged with the corresponding student name.
How thoughtful.
Izuku followed the bluenette and searched for his own uniform, only for said bluenette to hand it over to him in the blink of an eye.
"Can we talk later?" The teen said as he looked at Izuku. "I have something to say to you, but first, our homeroom teacher's order demands priority."
"Eh, sure." Izuku shrugged and accepted the uniform. Grabbing the packet with both arms, he hummed as he tried to measure the size with his eye, an ability he developed during his time in Lordran.
Smirking to himself, Izuku opened the packet and stripped to his undies all in one fell swoop.
The entire class went silent again as they all stared at Izuku as he dressed himself with the gym uniform in seconds. Sighing with a job well done, Izuku smirked and then promptly lost it when he glanced around, his eyes taking in the various expressions his classmates had.
"What?" Izuku tilted his head as his eyes roamed every single one of his classmates. "Something on my face?"
If the red faces of his female classmates were anything to go by, Izuku would say that they were angry. Why angry? Ask the natives of Lordran.
He didn't want to fuck up his relations with his classmate this bad just at the start. What would his mother say?
"Anything wrong?" For the first time since he came back from Lordran, Izuku began to feel nervous. He may not be fazed by harrowing monsters, or death-incarnate beings of legend, those he would fight any day, and probably enjoy doing it too, but a social circle where he's expected to bond and have conversations with? That was a step too far.
The most conversations he had back in Lordran was with Trusty Patches. It was also the prominent reason why he kept on defaulting to a grin or a smirk. There was also Solaire, Laurentius, Siegmeyer, and a sorcerer whose name kept on escaping Izuku.
Big Hat Logan was where he got most of his sorceries, after all.
Even then, most of them exchanged with him a line or two before they ignored him because they had better stuff to do. It was a bit frustrating, but totally understandable.
Anyway, point is, he didn't like being this nervous about talking with a person, much more people who he was sure was going to stick with him for the better part of three years.
"HAVE YOU NO SHAME!?" The bluenette that was giving out the gym uniforms sputtered with a cracked voice. "Undressing in the middle of the classroom with the opposite gender, disgraceful! Absolutely disgraceful!"
"Dude, I may have pride in my body, but holy shit, you are so fucking manly." Eijiro's eyes began tearing up as his body shook.
"Oi, horn buddy. Don't tell me you're gonna strip right here as well?" Mina's face poked from behind the redhead with an impish grin, her face a shade darker than her normal pink one. "Give us a show, would ya?"
"L-like hell I'll do that!" Eijiro stuttered with a red face.
"Nah, I'm just messing with ya!" Mina chuckled as she patted Eijiro's pointy hair.
"Kero. Nice abs." A green haired girl with a face that closely resembled a frog bluntly stated without a change in her expression.
"Why is it always the cute and crazy ones, why!?" A purple midget crumpled to the floor as he continued hurling obscenities at the world and at Izuku himself.
"Cool scars, bro. Got that from training?" The blonde with a black zigzag on his hair commented with a smirk.
Once his classmates got over the shock of Izuku stripping and dressing in a few seconds, the whole room burst into chatter and giggles. Nothing really bad or morally demented. Just classic teenage stuff.
"No, seriously, what did I do wrong?" Izuku muttered, but his question went unheard as the chatter amongst his classmates continued. Giving up with a shrug, Izuku headed out of the room and towards where their homeroom teacher was waiting for them.
By jumping out of the window.

Some people might call Aizawa a night owl, but truthfully told, he enjoyed the day more than the night did. Sure, it was when most of the criminals and villains do their dirty work, thus the optimal and most rational time to do heroing, unlike those that pose for the cameras and the press, but the day held one of his favorite activities to do with his life.
Teaching.
That one word, if it got out that it was his favorite thing to do, would no doubt end with endless teasing from his two close co-workers, and even the other teachers in school. There was just something nice about seeing old students become successful in their lives because he had the chance to teach them what he knew about the unforgiving world.
He may be a hard ass, but that's because he knew what happened to those unprepared in this line of work.
Oboro would be proud.
Shaking his head from the dark memory, Aizawa prepared his casual scowl and waited underneath the scorching sun. If his students were going to be doing it under this heat, then he would bear it with them as well.
"Hmm… five minutes have passed…" Aizawa clicked his tongue. It was already five minutes too late in case of emergencies, but that's the point of schools. To teach the students in a controlled and safe environment. That still didn't give them the right to treat this like a walk in a park.
Hopefully, he wouldn't have to transfer them into Gen Ed, otherwise, the RAT GOD would have his ass mounted in his office. But he'd rather take that than let another student die young because an accident happened when he wasn't prepared enough.
"I'm here!" A voice rang out in the field and Aizawa looked at the source. A deeper frown made its way onto his face the moment he laid eyes on the figure.
"Midoriya Izuku, five minutes and thirty-seven seconds. Not bad for a first timer." Aizawa said as he looked at his stopwatch he fished out of his pocket. "Where are your other classmates?"
"Still changing, I think." Izuku hummed as his knees wobbled. "Ow… Hehe, said something about a changing room or something."
At his words, Aizawa raised an eyebrow.
"Changing room? Did you not change with your classmates in a changing room?" Izuku's body motion hinted at no, he did not. "Where did you get changed then?"
"When I got the uniform from blue head in the classroom." Ah, that's why he was early, Aizawa noted.
"Okay, rational enough to not stress about embarrassment on the field. A nice mindset to have." Aizawa approved. Sometimes, he gets paired up with a hero who hadn't changed yet into their costume because of reasons, and they still have the audacity to tell him to his face to leave because they like their privacy.
There was a crime in progress just a few blocks down for Buddha's sake! If you have the time to complain about someone being in your personal space while you change, then that's time wasted to go and save a potential casualty!
Aizawa sighed. When did the standards of heroes suddenly took a nosedive? Oh right, when the HPSC took control.
No wonder the RAT GOD hated them.
"So, what are we doing?" Izuku's question brought Aizawa out of his reverie and his trademark scowl began covering his face.
"I'll tell you when your classmates get here." Aizawa lazily replied and continued basking in the sunlight. "In the meantime, go occupy yourself with something as long as you stay in the track and field area."
He saw Izuku give him a two-fingered salute before he bolted towards the grass and laid himself eagle spread on the grass. Strange action, but he was not one to judge.
It was about ten minutes later before the rest of the class arrived, and at that point, Aizawa was a tiny bit pissed at their nonchalance.
'Time to give them a breakdown in reality.'
