After ensuring that he wasn't cornered by any monsters, Philip tapped into his invisibility, traversing swiftly back to the Bryxton Dream city with levitation.
As he moved, he kept a vigilant eye out for any lurking Clayros. He didn't want to risk discovery and find himself once again pursued by monsters.
In flight, he used his clairvoyance to survey the dream city on the horizon. Congested monsters were slowly devouring the wall, a massive bubonic cleric breaking it apart with its long staff, delivering the pieces into its beak.
Philip noticed an unusual calm among the monsters as if they were confident no one could challenge them. The Clayros and telepons weren't active as well, allowing his covert operations to remain undetected.
This struck Philip as abnormal. He knew that the monsters were intelligent and unlikely to make such a rookie mistake and couldn't help but find it too odd.
