章節 7: Feelings
Sela Blue sat on a rock beside Joesh, holding her head as she struggled with her thoughts.
'What should I do… I need Lightning Cruse Core, but I don't want to kill him now… he is blessed with something no one could even imagine in this world. He was a normal person before, but was still able to use rejuvenation which not even First Degree Hunter can use… ah'
Joesh noticed her worries and wondered what she was thinking, but suddenly remembered something-- she would kill him!
'Wait, how did I forget this… I was waiting for her? Who will kill me?' He totally forgot about the part where she said she would kill him. But he smiled nonetheless. 'If I have to die, dying in her hands sounds better than that monster' Joesh thought to himself.
"Joesh, can you help me with something?" Sela Blue asked in a heavy voice.
"Sela Blue-san, you don't have to think about it that much, if I had to die, I would die after having dinner with you. You don't know my life… You don't know how much you've changed my life. I've never experienced things like these in my life, and it is all thanks to you, I don't have any regrets. I paid my parents' debt which was a big trauma for me, and I overcame my fear to take risks… it was all because of you. If you want it, take it, no hard feelings, please." Joesh said with a heartfelt smile, these words were from the heart. He, who never revealed his feelings to anyone before, opened his heart to someone.
Revealing feelings was also one kind of taking a risk, It was a risk he couldn't overcome, until now.
"Joesh…" Sela Blue didn't know what to think or feel about this anymore.
"…wait, Sela Blue-san, what if you take the core from my body now? I won't die! I think we still got some time!" he suggested without thinking much about it.
"No, we can't do that, Lightning Cruse Core is special. It only forms when the body dies. It is connected to your soul" she said, sighing.
"Well... no problem." Joesh stood up and took a deep breath. "The air is good in this world," he said, looking around at the ruins that surrounded them. "How many times was I killed in those seconds? Haha," he laughed to himself.
Sela Blue looked at his smiling face. 'Okay… I decided," she thought and nodded, she felt that was the only way.
"First I have to find a shopping Mall, so I can wear some clothes." Joesh looked at his healthy body; he was feeling good naked, but he wouldn't be able to have dinner with Sela Blue like this.
"Wait!! I… the card is gone," It was in his pocket.
"Joesh," Sela Blue called out to him.
"I-I am sorry… looks like it was destroyed," Joesh apologized.
"Leave it, I have something important to tell you," she said, not minding about that card at all.
"What is it?" he asked, what was important now? He didn't know.
"First, you have to wear something," Sela Blue said, turning around.
Joesh smiled, he felt some feelings from her, did she just blush? He wanted to tease her, but she already started walking away. "Hey, wait for me"
Sela Blue and Joesh entered a mall, where Joesh was able to dress in some good clothes without paying for anything in this world. He wore a black and white patterned shirt, black pants, and a watch too. And, as soon as he was dressed, the power that had been keeping him healthy vanished, but he didn't feel any different.
"We're now going to my house. Close your eyes," Sela Blue instructed, taking hold of his hand.
"Your house?" Joesh was surprised by her statement but closed his eyes since he understood she was doing something.
He heard a sound like rushing air, and suddenly they were moving at a high speed. He tried to open his eyes to see what was happening, but there was a barrier of air pressure around them, preventing him from seeing anything. He closed his eyes again, waiting for them to arrive at their destination, but one thing was sure, they were traveling at a very high speed.
And in the meantime, he just thinking about Sela Blue, but that made him…
'What I am feeling… is this love?' he thought, when he first saw her, he felt it was an honor to see and meet such a beautiful woman. But after she said she would kill him, he didn't think about it, he just wanted to change himself, and die. Despite never having anything that made him happy before, he had fun, so much fun without worries in the last 5 hours.
'I did like some before, but… love? I'm not sure,' Joesh pondered, questioning whether he had ever truly loved someone. He cherished his parents who gave birth to him and raised him despite their own struggles, but the love he felt for them and the feelings he had for Sela Blue were not the same. They were different.
"We've arrived," Sela Blue announced as Joesh opened his eyes to a surprising sight. They were suspended in mid-air above the ocean

"Huh?" He was surprised by what was in front of him… They both stood in mid-air above the ocean. "Where..?"
Sela Blue gestured towards the ocean. "I'm showing you this because you need to know, this is called a barrier," she explained, touching something in mid-air. Suddenly, a black veil materialized before them.
"Wow!" Joesh exclaimed as the veil parted, revealing a massive island.
"This keeps my clan hidden from everything, and no one can break that veil or open it without my permission. This is my clan, and I am the head of it," Sela Blue said as they descended towards the island that was home to the Sela Clan.
As they entered inside, the veil closed and became invisible.
Joesh looked around and noticed many old homes, but very few people. There were only around two to three hundred individuals, and half of them were elderly.
"This is the state of my clan, long ago, my clan was one of the most prestigious clans in the world, but after many wars, betrayals, inner conflicts, and many more destroyed it, which reduced the clan to this.
After my parents' death, I become Clan Head, and I promised myself I would bring back glory to my clan and make it one of the… no the top clan in this world" Sela Blue explained as they landed on the ground.
"Clan Head" Upon spotting Sela Blue, children playing in the garden immediately bowed to her.
Sela Blue nodded and she started speaking again "I am strong, you can say there are very few who can fight me. But I alone am insufficient for a clan, one had to be the strongest or It requires a group of powerful individuals, for the world to recognize the clan. I can say I am not the strongest because there is someone who holds that title… Joesh, I never asked someone a favor before, but I believe that I must do so now…
