"Eleven banners captured without a single sword drawn. I wonder if history has ever seen such a feat?" the Captain mused.

"I highly doubt it," Drevolan added, his voice filled with satisfaction.

I took a sip of wine, savoring the taste. It's especially delightful after pulling off a risky task, helping to relax muscles I hadn't even realized were tense.

"Any trouble?" Drevolan inquired.

"Nothing Opal couldn't handle," I replied.

"Heard and witnessed, Boss," Opal chimed in.

"Quiet, Opal," I snapped.

The Captain continued, "We might have bought ourselves a couple of hours while they replace their banners, but we can't rely on that. I still need to check on the earthworks."

"And you, Viktor," Drevolan interjected, "should get some rest. Tomorrow, you'll be in battle."

"Heh," I scoffed. "What makes you think I'll be there?"

Drevolan merely shrugged, leaving me without a response. I finished my wine and headed off to sleep.
