Old market, Sanaa, Yemen.

An Arab man in his forties, with short, partially greying hair and beards roamed the afternoon streets of the old market. He picked up goods and haggled their prices with the vendors before eventually only buying dates to eat.

It didn't seem like he was interested in buying anything... more like he was more interested in the haggling experience or maybe he was just interested in knowing the current prices of market goods.

He continued haggling the prices of goods with the market vendors until he met a vendor who enthusiastically invited him to his shop. The man was overwhelmed into accepting the invitation.

The vendor led him into a herb shop where he displayed his goods for the man's perusal.

On his part, the man's movements seemed practised as he deftly appraised each herb presented to him and gave his price.

AUTHOR’S RAMBLING

A new week... a new month... a new beginning.

I’ve got too pieces of news; good and bad I think.

Bad news, at least for me, I’m now unemployed. I had to resign for health reasons. So, I’m jobless for the foreseeable future. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet. Look for a new job... or maybe go into agriculture. I had a childhood dream of rearing animals and owning a ranch, a good time as any to start small, no?.

Good news, maybe for you; I have more free time on my hands. As long as I can get over my laziness, I should be able to achieve my long time goal of 2 chapters per day! We’ll see how that goes. I’m cautiously optimistic coz I can be quite lazy when left to my discretion. Should I trap myself by doing an event? Hmm... that could work. Let’s see how freedom works first before trapping myself again.

Anyway, I’m interested to read what you guys think of the latest volume.

The Rise of Pantheon volume’s focus is on the growth of the Pantheon organisation so the team takes a backseat in the volume for the most part. Since this is mostly an action novel, most of the focus is on Horus but the other wings will also receive airtime before the arc ends.
