CH362: Father's wisdom

Temitope got home. He got a change of clothes then headed to his father's workshop. He found the man working on a chair.

"Hello, father."

"Welcome back."

Temitope got into an overall and started helping out his father.

They hardly said anything else to each other while they worked.

Hours later, they finished the set of three chairs. They sat at a corner of the workshop to eat a meal and rest.

"Did you receive the money I sent?" Temitope asked.

"Yes." His father replied.

Then…

Silence.

After a while,

"How long are you staying?"

"I don't know. Until the next Op comes up."

Another period of silence.
