Traveling in the middle of the fvcking night wasn't something that I was really fond of. Humans as a species had a ridiculous aversion to the vast depths of the unknown, and not being able to see beyond a few meters in front of you did wonders on paranoid minds like mine. I vehemently advised against moving through the night back when I was still traveling with the twins, and I sure as hell would advocate the same if not for the imposed time limit Herr Stein gave us to run the fvck away.

So here we were walking in the pitch-black darkness with only the light of our torches to illuminate the path ahead of us. The moon wasn't planning on showing itself, unfortunately, and it only exacerbated the irrational fear gnawing inside my chest. At least, I wasn't alone this time like when that ice monster stalked me through the streets of that one accursed town.
