“Arran already called,” Zelda insisted.

“What, he called you and not me,” I snapped at Zelda.

“You sound jealous,” she drawled, wiggling her brows.

“Why would I be jealous? And in any case, he is already whipped by Maurice,” I boasted.

“And what about you?”

I turned sideways and stared at her lips. “Your mouth is beautiful. Especially when it is wrapped around my c*ck.”

“Shut up,” she seethed, but a slow smile played on her lips.

Our relationship had progressed in the past weeks. Everyone knew that we were dating, and Amanda was the first one to befriend a shocked Zelda. Having family accept us made me feel a constriction in my chest knowing how painful my past was.

We stood by the private hangar and watched as Dante—in chains and cuffs— stepped down from the plane. His eyes widened when he spotted Zelda and looked away in embarrassment.
