Daylight roused me from my slumber, and I groaned before reaching for my nightstand, with the intent of reaching for my phone. I straightened up with difficulty when I realized that last night I made a terrible mistake. The pounding on my head made me groan further and I got out of bed. I stared at the pajamas on my body and remembered how Killian bathed me.

What was I thinking? Anything could have happened...

I had thrown myself at him on the kitchen counter and he had purposely turned me down, stating he would not touch a drunk person.

A delicious smell emanated from the kitchen. I got up and was immediately struck by a severe headache. I walked to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and washed my face. I slowly strolled to the kitchen and found Killian making breakfast.
