"I'll have you know I was called the giant of Table Tennis back in middle school!" Hana said excitedly while getting ready to serve.
"And I was called the master ball twister back in elementary!" Wataru also got ready, putting a 100 and 10% focus into the game. He needed to win this at all costs.
*Bang* *thuk* *Bang*
The match started with three balls bouncing at the same time.
Almost losing focus of the real one, Wataru hastily responded back with a forceful smash.
Feeling quite a bit appalled he couldn't help himself from saying, "That name sure does you justice!"
Laughing playfully Hana responded with a taunt, "This is just the start!"
This match may turn out to be tougher than he expected.

*10+ minutes and a hard match later*
*Huff Huff Ufff*
Wataru could be seen sitting on the side bench looking at the two girls going at it, Hana was ahead with a 3 - 1 score.
'That was really hard, in a lot of ways' Thankfully he was able to outsmart the girl and end the match quickly. Yurika's energy was nothing to scoff at, just looking at her aura was enough to tell.
[Task - Defeat Hana in a Tennis match - completed]
Reward - +2 life force and Active skill - ki movement.
Feeling a bit more energised Wataru quickly opened the skill's description, this was his second active skill now.
{Active skill - Ki movement}
User can internally move his ki to whichever part of his body.
'A short and simple enough description, gotta check it practically now' Thinking so he activated the skill.
Wataru suddenly felt a burst of warmth throughout his body.
[Continuous active skill - Ki sense acquired]
His ki felt calm and fuzzy, this new sensation felt quite good.
Concentrating on his right hand he instinctively tried to move the warm energy there.
"Wow!" Feeling the increase in his arm's strength, Wataru couldn't help but exclaim.
Miko, who just scored a point, heard Wataru's voice and thought it was for her.
Giving Hana a smirk she threw out a taunt, "What happened Hana? I thought you were gonna make me eat dust?"
Hana pouted while saying, "You two are bullying me!"
Oblivious to the two girls, Wataru concentrated on playing with the skill a bit more.
After moving his Ki to all parts of his body, he came to two basic conclusions. First, any place he concentrates his ki into becomes more robust and stronger. Second, other parts of his body end up becoming weaker during the concentration.
While it seemed like a decent skill for now, Wataru could feel the immense potential of the skill.
He was bound to have a much greater amount of ki in the future, strengthening his body 24/7 could be possible then.
And if he was able to outwardly project his ki?
Thinking of being able to do Kamehameha in the future, Wataru buzzed with excitement.
Just then Yurika's shout caught his attention.
"What happened Miko!?"
Looking over, Wataru noticed Miko trembling with her eyes closed.
A sinister aura was approaching her rapidly.
*********
(Miko's POV)
Today has been going wonderfully, Hana and Sajou-san are really fun to hang out with.
Hana makes sure that none of those monsters stay for long, and Sajou-san has promised me that he would help me deal with these things in the future.
If Sajou-san can really do as he says then maybe I don't have to be so scared of these beings anymore in the future?
Though I still have doubts about what he said, being near me helped him grow stronger? How does that work?
Is it an emotional thing or does it have something to do with my powers?
I don't feel anything changing about him, I really hope this goes well.
*Huff Huff*
Taking deep breaths I heard Hana call out to me, "I only need two points to win now Miko! You better not back out!"
How does she still have so much energy left in her?
"Of course, Of course. Oh great giantess of tennis ball." She seemed to like that title very much.
Just as I was about to serve, I suddenly saw a ball coming right at me.
Startled, I instinctively dodged to the left, missing the ball by just a few inches.
I faced the direction where the ball came from while feeling irritated. What if that hit me?
There was a young girl around my age standing there with her racket raised, facing my direction.
"Did you just do that intentionally?" my irritation deepened.
Just as I was about to question the girl more, Hana cut me off, seemingly puzzled she asked,
"Who are you talking to Miko?"
"You can see me?"

(3rd person POV)
Seeing the sinister aura rapidly approaching Miko, Wataru got up in a flash and dashed.
[Task - Save Miko - Generated]
Time limit- 5 seconds.
Reward - +20 spiritual awareness, +20 affection from Miko, Passive skill- Spirit sense.
Penalty for failure - +70 depression, Title 'Good for nothing'
'I'll not reach her.' Not paying attention to the task, Wataru focused, feeling as if the world was going in slow motion.
'I'll not reach her!' The distance between him and Miko was greater than between her and the monster. The monster was faster than him too so reaching her as he is now would not be possible.
"The ki!" Exclaming Wataru Instinctively moved his ki to his legs, resulting in him suddenly flash towards the aura at an extreme speed.
"Shi-" due to the sudden movement he found himself right in front of the aura.
Instinctively moving the ki from all over his body to his head at the last moment he smashed head first into the thing.
"Ah! Sajou-kun what are you doing?!" An anxious Hana couldn't make sense of the situation at all.
Miko suddenly started trembling and then Sajou-kun suddenly dashed forward and headbutted empty air.
"What is going on here!?"
The disoriented Sajou felt his head tingle due to the sharp noise.
This chapter was weak.
I will write a better chapter for tomorrow.
