[Jin's PoV]
I felt like waking up from a hangover. My head is throbbing from the mara-struck infested throughout my system, and I don't remember how I got here. Last thing I remember was doing high intensity training under a waterfall, pushing both my mind and body to the limit. Now that I reflect on my actions, it wasn't that much of a good idea.
Looking around, I find myself standing inside a fancy victorian style hotel bar with no windows. The ceiling was cerulean blue with intricate looking crystal chandeliers illuminating down a calming pale light. The floor covered with soft sand-like red carpeting and the walls had a ashy texture like smoked wood, smooth and pleasant to the touch. A quiet mix of classic piano and Jazz lingered throughout the atmosphere.
This all reminded me too much of that one anime called 'Death parade', where two people play a game to decide who gets to reincarnate and the other vanishes. Very not reassuring. Behind me was a corridor leading to a dead end with portraits of flower fields depicted.
I was standing next to one of these portraits with a landscape of red spider lily's. Suppose this means something, but I didn't presume.
Proceeding forwards, I arrived at the bar table. There were three occupants. A person I suppose to be the bartender, a citrine haired woman, pale skin with lime colored irises. Wearing an all black bartender uniform, she gave off the impression of discipline. Her gaze focused on me, if waiting for me to order something.
Sitting at the counter next to the bartender is a blonde man dressed in a navy colored flamboyant two piece suit with teal accents and a black tie around his neck and had a fedora on the counter. He wears blue shaded glasses. All in all, the man looked like a rich hipster with a eccentric fashion sense.
On the further side of the bar sat a younger woman in her late teens if I had to guess her age. A darker shade of blonde hair styled in aristocratic fashion, red eyes and She wore a deep red bare shoulder dress that looked like something a person would wear if they are going to a ball or a formal banquet. Stirring her half finished drink, she seem to be apathetic towards the other occupants at this place.
"Well, First time at the gathering bar?" The Man in the dark blue suit ask trying to start a conversation. "Name's Aventurine Aventius, Head Manager of Gringott's, shareholder of several global companies and richest man in the wizarding world." He introduced himself with a friendly attitude And stretched out a hand.
I looked at the offered appendage, then looked at this Aventurine Aventius. Noticing a holster with a intricate designed stick inside on his hip, I concluded that he is most likely a wizard from the harry potter franchise.
It's been a long time since I watched anything related to my old world. Surprise that I am able to remember most of them at this point.
Reluctantly I took the offered handshake. "Jin Kurama of Konohagakure. No noteworthy titles to my name yet." I was to a certain degree suspicious of him.
"Nice to know you, since it's your first time here at this place, allow me as a senior to introduce you to the Domain of our benefactor." Aventurine said with all the flare of a very enthusiastic salesman about to promote his finest product. I raised an eyebrow.
"But first, why don't you make yourself comfortable and have a drink?" Aventurine asked, gesturing to the stools lining the counter. I looked at him, to a certain extent suspicious of his motives. Sitting down with a stool in between, the bartender handed me a leather bound menu. Opening the tangible menu, there was only one item written in thin gold ink.
[~Any drink you desire~]
I was silent for a minute or so before deciding to simply roll with it. Gazing up at the Bartender I ordered. "50/50 Cola Pepsi mixed, with a orange slice and a few drops of mint juice. lightly stirred, but no shake." My favorite drink back in my old life. Due to my spite towards the cola- and Pepsi supremacists. And especially satisfying went drank infront of those peoples.
While the citrine haired bartender was mixing my drink, Aventurine started the conversation. "So, how's your situation with the Sovereign of sin?" I thought about my answer for a moment before answering.
"Had to roll the Gatcha wheel and was born into a mercenary organization known as Konohagakure." I replied if talking about the weather.
"Same here, but I get to choose which world I get to go to on my second run." Aventurine shrugged. "The first world was a modern era where I had to gamble my way out of poverty. We usually gain access to the gathering bar on our first run in the Service of our benefactor under the condition of a major break through in the sin mastery we are best at.."
My drink arrived and I sampled it. The taste was just as I remembered. It's been years since I had cola.
"So we are send to other worlds after our deaths?" I asked. "Yes, but we can only visit a world once at our current rank under the Sovereign of sin." Aventurine explained.
"Ranks for what?" I inquired taking another sip of my mix.
"The likes of us who only started our journey under the care of our benefactor are basically rookies amongst the hundreds of it's followers."
"Why do we do all this, what's the end goal?" This is all just too convenient. " To be transported to one world after another to accumulate experience and strength. It doesn't matter how I look at it, what the Sovereign of sin is providing is too one sided in our benefit."
"A chance to ascend to godhood." Aventurine said in a low voice. I blinked and he continued.
"This is a usually unspoken agreement between the likes of us and the Sovereign. Through mastery of our so called "sin" we hone our "virtues" as a counter balance to the "sins" we bare, and thus advance in strength that is our own."
Then a Panel popped up before my eyes, similar to my system screen yet this one had a more fancier vibe to it.

"A senior executor once told me that we are like the Sovereign's prized flowers while it is the gardener, our path to ascension is like the blooming of said flowers. It meant well towards us in its own way, so it's unwise to wither and rot." Aventurine said, reciting the phrase from a past encounter.
Savoring another taste of the "blasphemous" union of coke and Pepsi, I was both intrigued by the things I heard so far yet also skeptical. "Tell me about the rankings between the likes of us."
"It's mostly based off on seniority among us. First are the newbies like yourself and that Noble lady over there." he gestured to the young woman in red sitting at the end of the bar. She barely responded, yet my keen observation told me that she is paying attention but is acting uninterested.
"Then there are the Repeaters, like myself that still require the intervention of our patron to facilitate our rebirth in other worlds"
"Then the Travelers that can visit worlds on their own, but are reliant on the Sovereign's guidance to safely travel from one world to another. They are like bounty hunters for our Sovereign and take on odd jobs."
"Last are the executors, it's said that each one of them are only a single breakthrough apart from fully ascending to godhood and become independent from our benefactor. Each one of them holds the seat of their main sin."
Reflecting on the information I just obtained I asked. "How much do I owe you?" I doubt he is the kind of person that expects nothing in return.
Aventurine Aventius shrugged before taking a gulp of his own drink. "There isn't anything you can give me, and I mean that literally. This dimension is a chatroom of the sort. Anyone entering this place can only chat, relax and get a few drinks, and that is pretty much it."
"I don't Know the specifics, but there are rumors of a senior once using the gathering bar as a means to further his own goals. In the end dude pissed off an executor and is nailed somewhere in this bar. If this rumor is true or false, nobody knows." Aventurine smiled helplessly.
Time passed for an hour or two, while we chatted on various topics before deciding to leave this spiritual realm and return back to where I left off training. Although materialisticly I didn't gain anything, but in terms of knowledge it was bountiful. I didn't think that the Sovereign's influence on the world I currently reside would be this huge, yet I could barely notice it.
Standing infront of the portrait depicting a field of red spider lily's, I layed my palm on the surface of the painting and allowed an unseen force pull me in similar to the feeling of sliding through a tunnel slide.

AN: Next chapter Jin gets a "you are finally awake" moment.
Had a bit too much fun writing this chapter. Thanks to your dedication in commenting.
The reason I aged up Shisui in the last chapter is to prevent him from dying at the hands of Danzo "before" the potential Uchiha massacre. Also other reasons.
A question to the readers: Did Tsunade leave the village after the second ninja war or the third ninja war? This is important to the progression of the plot during the future war arc. leave a comment.
Thoughts on Jin becoming a sith. (Unrelated to the current plot, for now.)
