"Babe ! There you are", Dominic sang out before tugging me in his arms but then his hold suddenly tightened around me and he probed further. "Why are you gossiping with this kind man here, baby ?", he asked. "He must be busy. Let me help you with the rest of the shopping, ok ?", he suggested and led me away.

"Don’t do anything stupid", Dominic suddenly whispered in my ear while stooping down to place a carton of milk in the shopping basket.

"What do you mean ?", I retorted immediately.

"I mean that just trust me with the shopping list that has to be done at the other end of the store", he chuckled before nipping my nose tip and walked towards the place where Hayden and I had stood previously.

Why do I feel that he meant something else ?
