章節 1: Why not dreams?
I was standing in a room full of twisted mannequins and distorted glass. The room was dark and the only source of light was the moon, lighting up the room a little with it's pale light.
At the other side of the room was a wooden door with a glinting door knob. It tempted me to go to it and turn the knob but something stopped; the noises I heard behind the door stopped me.
I heard tortured screams and the smashing of glasses. I heard a man shouting furiously, it made me take a step back. But the screams lured me into the manipulate thought of opening the door.
Suddenly all the heads of the mannequins' turned towards me. I was feeling a mixture of terror and confusion. They slowly started to crack their 'joints' and started walking towards me. I knew what I had to do, even though I didn't want to.
Suddenly, a gust of wind knocked me down. I looked around and couldn't find a single window through which the wind could come through. I then heard a deep chuckle of a man and squeaky cackle of a woman. I was scared to death as their laughs reminded me if the time I was kidnapped and was almost murdered when I was 7. I'll never forget what happened that day but it left a nasty, incurable scar on me. I had to leave this wretched place right now.
I had to sprint to the door, open it and run away from the uncanny human-like figures around me.
I took one step toward the door and the mannequins twisted their heads. I decided I should just go for it. I sprinted as fast as I possibly could, heading towards the door. I caught a glimpse of the mannequins in the corner of my eye. They were now scuttling towards me.
I turned the knob vigorously so that it would open and I would escape this nightmare.
And I did....nope nevermind
I entered the world behind the door, just to see my stepdad abusing my mom. I couldn't feel pity for her because of the treacherous things she had done to me. Although a part of me wanted to tear the relationship my stepdad and mom had and never bring them together as a family.
I finally woke up, sweat dripping down my wet face and pajamas. It was a nightmare. Yay.
It wasn't as worse as the one I had yesterday night but I guess I'd give it a solid 6.5/10.
Part of the nightmare was real, my mom and stepdad had gotten into another fight and my stepdad was hurting my mom. I had already gotten numerous bruises on my body because of that witch and monster. I didn't want any more so I got up to get ready for my first day at school, the place I hated the most.
It was the only choice I had.
