I open a couple incorrect doors before finding a bedroom, by now it is clear that there's no one else inhabiting the house, it wouldn't be a fun situation if this were to turn to some kind of 'Goldilocks and the three bears' situation.

The house is oddly well kept, most likely the use of magic, unless the animals that lived in the meadow were also somehow part time house sitters.

Investigating the house would be a task for another day, if I would even get to doing any of that, I didn't particularly have the motivation to run in the grass and feel the sun on my face.

Or maybe, the real owners of the cottage would find me while I'm asleep and put a couple arrows through my stomach...

Maybe that would be for the best, I was quite the useless hero wasn't I? I couldn't save anyone and always need to be rescued.
