"Is she going to be okay?" I ask Zach in worry, September has been out for way too long for comfort, considering nothing is physically wrong with her.

"Yeah." Zach replies, keeping his eyes fixed on her sleeping face. "What do you plan to do after you find Noran?" He asks in return, still looking at September.

I just shrug, unwilling to make any concrete plans at least none that I was willing to tell anyone. "Stay as far away as possible from my mother and go to school perhaps, exams are starting soon."

Zach gives me a weird look but grins. "Sounds like fun."

I leave the room and head straight out, the carriage should be out in front with the others, had told them that I wanted to check up on September and Neruda had kept giving me suspicious glares like he expects me to grab my sister and make a run for it.
