Charlotte gasped as she sat down on her desk. She thought that she's going to be late for the afternoon class. After lunch, she decided to return the books she borrowed from the library last time. Charlotte ran for her life and almost bumped into one of her classmates. Remembering Aiden's expression, she bruised her face. 'It's so embarrassing!' she thought.
Aiden was one of his classmates, but he's not close to anyone from their class. Some of her female classmate's called Aiden as the 'Grumpy Knight'. He's always grumpy, yet he's willing to help the class in every activity. That's why he got the name 'Knight'.
Come to think of it, Charlotte never saw Aiden become friendly with their classmates. Even if there are girls who wanted to ask him out or for his number. The boys in their class are scared of him because of his delinquent look so no one dares to start a fight with him. Charlotte sunk her chin on the desk with her arms below her face. 'He's amazing'
She was about to close her eyes for a while when something snapped a string on her. She sprang up from her seat and looked at her hands. Charlotte tried to blink a few times before finally realizing that she's not carrying her diary. Feeling the gazes from her classmates, she slumped down on her desk. Hiding her face, she mumbled. "My diary,"
Their professor entered the room, and their afternoon class started. Since they were classmates, she thought of waiting for Aiden and asked him if he saw her diary earlier. But the class had passed, and the guy didn't even show up even a strand of hair. It made the girl a little anxious. She's writing everything in her diary and it will be a shame if someone finds out.
Charlotte stood up and gathered all her things. If Aiden skipped class, she can just look for the guy. At least it will not look awkward for the both of them to ask for her diary. She'll become more embarrassed if Aiden returns it to her in the classroom.
Just when she was about to exit their building, the sky roared. Small drops of rain started to fall down on the dry ground, showering the grasses. The sky turned gray and the heavy clouds released its baggage. Charlotte's amethyst eyes narrowed as soon as she realized that she had no umbrella. Well, she can just call her driver to ask to park in front of her building, but her phone ran out of battery. The girl had no choice but to sit down on the bench near the school shoe lockers.
"How will I get to the next building if I have no umbrella?" Charlotte mumbled to herself.
Then some murmuring sounds invaded her silence. She turned around and saw Trixie with her two other friends. Charlotte felt elated when she saw the girl holding an umbrella. She excitedly stood up and was about to approach them when they quickly turned to the other side of the lockers upon glancing at her. They literally just avoided her.

"Sorry, we're late!" Amy bowed her head and pushed her cousin. They saw Alaena and Justin there, sweeping the floor. Though she fell into daze upon seeing the said handsome school owner's son, Liechael Ross.
Liechael was wiping the glass windows with his sweat. He lifted his right arm and wiped his cheeks. The rays of the setting sun hit his face, giving him a vague look that stunned Amy. The girl dashed beside Alaena and ripped her coat.
Alaena got bothered, so she stopped arranging the small canvas and eyed Amy. "What is it?" she whispered.
Amy on her back, whispered back. "Is this really Liechael? Like, the School owner's son?" She got a nod from Alaena, who gazed at her with a puzzled face. She asked Amy to help her carry the canvas to the cabinet next to the door.
"Stop hiding behind me, geez!" Alaena mumbled to Amy, who's still hiding in her back while they were approaching the door. She nagged the girl's shoulders, and it made Amy jolted.
Little did they know that there were small brushes scattered on the floor from Aiden's box. It rolled on the floor towards Amy. The girl then stepped on it. She unconsciously lost her balance and was about to fall down when someone grabbed her arm.
"Are you okay?!" Justin exclaimed. He's more nervous than Amy. His breaths are almost out, like he already imagined Amy with a bleeding nose.
Amy forgot her surprised expression. She lifted her chin and saw Justin. Her eyes widened for a minute, couldn't believe that Justin was the one who caught her. The guy let her go and turned his gaze away. "B-Be c-careful next t-time," Justin stammered.
"What the heck are you two doing?" Aiden stepped between them with his grumpy expression. He got his two hands occupied by the medium size canvas. It startled Justin, so he sprang away from the two and walked into the corner quietly.
Amy also left Aiden and did what she needed to do. Glancing at Justin secretly, there was something that pushed her to notice the guy more. 'He's cool,' she thought. She then shook her head and swept the thought inside her mind.
"Amy, would you mind giving me a hand?" Alaena approached her from behind, putting the paintbrushes on the upper part of the cabinet she's into.
"S-Sure, what is it?" Amy replied.
Alaena leaned closer to her. "I wanted to buy drinks for all of us, but the rain started to pour. Can you accompany me outside? I have an umbrella." She smiled, at least trying to use her charm to let Amy agree.
A shadow darkened their backs and as they turned their heads, they saw Aiden. "Let me do it, you two stay here," then without another word, he trudged outside picking Alaena's umbrella near the door.
Alaena and Amy looked at each other with both wonder on their faces. "Your cousin is being extra helpful today," Alaena commented.
Justin approached them with a set of new art designs printed on folders. He tapped the lower part of the cabinet and put it slowly. "I agree," he whispered.
AT THE BACKSTAGE...
Alaena and Amy: Aiden sounds sus
Justin: Don't think of him like that, I-I'm a-also here to help
Amy: Yeah! Yeah! He helped me too
Alaena: Amy, it's normal to help someone who's about to stumble
Amy and Justin looked at each other then averted their eyes.
