"Houa Houa miss mommy a lot-lot tonight," his heart was longing for his mother much more tonight because he saw her portrait hanging in Mua Kong's study.

They may say 'out of sight, out of mind', but sometimes, when you haven't seen someone very dear to you for so long, the passage of time only makes you miss them so much more.

Their things, or things that remind you of them, would only make you miserable. This was how the father and son felt right now, with Hli Ja out of their lives. 

Mua Kong paused his writings to look over in the direction of the bed. He could hear his son's loneliness as he himself felt the same.

Pao Hua closed his eyes, "Uh-huh, uncle missed her too," his voice was low, and tired, "Now go to sleep."

Not happy with the answer, Little Superglue sat up and turned his whole body to face Pao Hua, "Houa Houa loves mommy very much. Houa Houa will be a good boy. Will Mommy come back?"
