"I would've come to you if you wanted to see me, my queen." Eireen turned to Scarlet; her head low, her voice small as if almost a whisper.

Scarlet gazed at Eireen at the corner of her eye; she was uncomfortable in her presence, and she can sense it from the tightness of her posture, down to the tone of her voice. As to why she was uncomfortable, Scarlet had a small inkling as to what it was.

"Then why didn't you?" Scarlet asked. She thought she'll be able to see Eireen's face the moment she woke up, but she didn't. Scarlet couldn't help thinking that Eireen might be avoiding her. What's more, Eireen was uncomfortable in her presence and she can see it from the straightness of her back and tightness on her expression.
