章節 47: "Who did you do it for?"

Qie Xieling had never had to think about anything seriously. In the past, his father would put him in time out and there was no self-reflection at all. He was either thinking about what for dinner or making up a story in his mind. But today his dad's face when he said that made him feel so bad that he couldn't help but self-reflect.

He stood facing the wall with a serious face while nervously rubbing his thumb with his index finger.

Qie Ranzhe glanced down at those fingers and sighed. He knew that if he spoke to his son it would violate the time-out order.

He stood up and turned the oven timer to eighteen minutes since two minutes had already passed on Qie Xieling's time out.

"When this rings come upstairs to our bedroom so we can talk about it," he said before turning to leave.

Qie Xieling nodded his head but his face remained fixed to the wall.
