2.6% Saved By The Alpha Who Turns Out To Be My Mate / Chapter 6: She's My Mate

章節 6: She's My Mate

"Thank you so much, Ms Collins. You just saved my life. I would forever be indebted to you." Beatrice appreciated her, weakly as she walked with her to her bedroom, supporting her.

"Save your strength, dear. You need to rest very well." She told her.

Ms Collins had put her life in risk by barging into Dante's room in order to save her.

"Sir, Please stop. You're going to kill her. She isn't Aurora. Please, sir." She had held his hand firmly, pleading.

Dante had flung her across the room and afterwards, slapped her hard across the face, in anger, but she didn't mind. That just saved Beatrice from being killed. After throwing some punches at her stomach, Dante was finally relieved and he walked into the bathroom to freshen up, leaving them alone to deal with their pains.

"If it weren't for you, I would definitely have lost my life, today. Thank you and I'm sorry you had to get beaten up because of me. I'm deeply sorry." Beatrice said as she saw Ms Collins' injured face.

"You talk too much, dear. It's absolutely fine. Now, stop talking and rest. You need it. Don't worry about me. I'm okay. I'm a werewolf, I'm going to heal in no time, don't worry yourself." She informed her and helped her get into bed.

Back at school, surprisingly, the class cooperated with their young teacher, even after he refused to tell them anything about him other than his name.

"That would be all for today, students." He said at the end of his period.

"Thank you, Teacher Elias. We enjoyed your class! You're not only attractive but also very intelligent. We love you." The class said in unison.

He smiled.

"I'm glad you enjoyed the class. Thank you for listening with rapt attention. I hope to meet y'all again next time, looking bright and healthy." He stated, all smiles and left the class. That was the first time the students would enjoy a mathematics class that much and wished it never ended. They appreciated his method of teaching and saluted him before allowing him to leave.

"Oh, that went well!" He muttered, heaving a sigh of relief, as he hopped into his car.

He had to force his wolf to stay calm throughout the whole time he spent in the classroom.

Immediately he stepped into the classroom, an intoxicating scent of cinnamon and lavender hit his nostrils and blocked them. His whole body felt caressed by the intoxicating scent. His wolf nearly won against his human senses and took control of him.

"Mate! Mate!! Mate!!! Our mate is in this class." His wolf had told him excitedly as he entered the classroom.

As he faced the students, he locked eyes with her but before she could feel he was staring at her, he quickly looked away.

"Those eyes are the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen. I can look at them for hours without getting bored. Her face is wonderfully crafted and I feel like caressing it. She looks delicate like a flower. She's just perfect for us. Our mate is the most beautiful lady in the whole world." His wolf had stated excitedly and wanted to shift right there to claim his mate.

"Stop acting like a child who is tasting candy for the first time. We're in a formal environment." Elias chastised his wolf.

"Well, our mate is like a candy to me." His wolf replied stubbornly. Elias didn't bother to reply.

"It's the same smell I was pointing out to you back in that bush, but you were too focused on fighting to recognize our mate." His wolf accused him.

"You dumbass! It's not that I didn't recognize our mate. I was furious that those wolves were hurting her and sprung into action. Moreover, we shouldn't get too excited since we aren't going to be accepting her." He replied his wolf, inwardly.

"Oh, my bad!" His wolf stated, sullenly, and he rolled his eyes.

Finding their destined mates was supposed to be a great thing that had ever happened to any werewolf but unfortunately that wasn't the case for Elias. He couldn't dare accept a mate!

When he turned 18 and realized his mate wasn't in his pack, he was relieved. He believed he wasn't going to wander around other packs so as not to cross path with her.

"There's no need finding a mate that I'm going to reject, eventually. I'm relieved she isn't in my pack. That would be hard for both of us." He had thought.

It wasn't easy to reject a mate and any wolf that did that would bear the heartbreaking pain forever. That was the curse laid by the moon goddess, their god. While any wolf that had the audacity to reject their mate would live the lives in misery, forever, the rejected wolf would only feel pain for a while and get a second chance mate.

"I feel sorry that I'm going to have to reject her when she finds out that we are mates but I have no choice. I don't want a mate so rejection is the best thing I can do for her, in order not to tie her down and let her live freely." He told himself.

"So, we're going to have to let her go just like that?" His wolf whined.

"You know we have to. You know the reason!" He had snapped at his wolf and it had withdrawn to the back of his mind, sulking.

"You might not understand me better but I know what I'm doing." Elias had said even though his wolf wasn't listening anymore.

"I'm going to pretend like I didn't know we are mates until she finds out and confront me, then I would reject her instantly. But if she decides to stay quiet and not confront me, then the whole thing becomes easier. We can simply keep ignoring each other instead of acknowledging that we're mates." He maintained, firmly.
