#Chapter6 This Means War
Mel's face was covered by her curly hair, nobody could have seen the devilish smirk that had crafted on her face but for me. I knew what Melissa was doing, and her act wasn't going to be pretty for blondie.
As a boxer we can't use our techniques as we please. Everything we do is for self-defense and self-defense only. And Melissa figured if she was hit, she would be able to defend herself and would avoid getting a long suspension.
Blondie snickered in happiness thinking that she had proven a point. Gasps heard behind me by the people that had surrounded us. And then there was me, thinking should I stop Melissa from beating the blondie to a pulp, or to enjoy the show.
I did what any best friend would do. I just took a few steps back to be in the safe zone, and I advised the group of students that were surrounding us to do so too. Some did what I said because it looked like they got the message. Others stood in the same place.
