The house was quickly filling with guests as the time of the party came. Sarah stood at the second-floor balcony watching as close and distant family members came into the house in waves.
"Are you nervous?" Asked a voice behind her, She looked back at Elias who came behind her and circled his arms around her waist.
"I would be lying if I said that I didn't," She responded leaning the back of her head against his chest and relaxing against him
"There should be only family members for the first two hours, rather wanted us to resolve the Aria thing before going into the real battle," Elias said
"Your father was really testing me, wasn't he? He wanted to see if I would back up from this plan or say that it wasn't as important as our main problem right now..."
"It's a bad habit of his, it's his way of conveying a message and preparing you for the responsibility that comes with my family. which I didn't like but had no right to interfere." He said apologetically
