90.69% Samus Aran's Journey Through the Multiverse / Chapter 39: 39: Battle against Jorgen, part 2.

章節 39: 39: Battle against Jorgen, part 2.

After a long time of figuring out the right proportions, Samus developed an alchemical technique that suited her general temperament. By manipulating the free energy in the environment, the air was covered in tiny sparks of blue light.

"Since you said I could use anything I could do, don't complain to me later, Jorgen," Samus said, stopping herself from attacking the fairy with electricity.

Jorgen seemed to be all right, except that his hair was a bit bristly and his clothes were a bit smoky, but he just smiled and looked around as if he noticed something.

Samus closed her hand, triggering the reaction to what she had done. She changed the air around Jorgen, increasing the hydrogen and oxygen to exaggerated levels, priming a bomb.

"Art is an explosion!" a glow covered Jorgen before the fire engulfed him.

The blast kicked up a lot of dust. The shockwave knocked Samus backward, but she was covered in a silver energy layer protecting her from shockwave damage.

But she knew that wouldn't be enough for her opponent, so she began to use dangerous techniques that she wouldn't normally use. Samus waved her staff and manipulated the nitrogen in the air, causing it to condense.

The cold liquid caused frost on the ground, but Samus simply poured the liquid nitrogen over Jorgen's location. The mixture of high temperatures and a sudden drop in temperature could damage many creatures and structures.

Barely 10 seconds had passed since the battle began. Samus did not stop there. She used all of her focus to manipulate the energy in the air, 'rubbing' it together and creating a purple glow in front of her.

She had created plasma, doing it so quickly had been a challenge for her before she had gone through that magnificent experience of almost going mad, but the truth they had seen, her truth about energy, now gave her an advantage she was beginning to experience in battle.

Samus waved her staff, manipulating the plasma ball into a disc that spun faster and faster, then pointed it at Jorgen and sent the plasma projectile at him.

The creation of the plasma had caused other reactions in the environment, charging it with electrical energy that she wanted to harness. With a wave of her gloved hand, the ground beneath her feet shook and glowed with small silver lights before pillars of metal erupted around her.

Samus discovered that she could change the color of the energy she emitted, staying between her favorite colors, blue and silver. But this time, she would stay with silver, because it was the color of the universal energy gathering in one place.

The metal pillars glowed with silver light before breaking into small metal balls that began to emit purple sparks. Samus hadn't had a chance to do this, but being born in New New York, shooting was in her blood.

Each of the metal balls began to turn orange and then red from the heat they were accumulating. The electricity in them increased tremendously, even emitting the characteristic sound of a high-voltage wire exposed to the open air.

Then she began to bombard Jorgen's location with these glowing orbs, creating her version of a railgun, only slightly exaggerated in quantity.

Samus enjoyed the constant sound of the shots piercing the air and leaving a trail of light, as well as the constant sound of impact. Meanwhile, she created an alchemical matrix of silver energy above her head.

Twenty seconds had passed. With each increase in her strength, Samus' processing and thinking speed had also increased. It wasn't as if her reactions and actions had lagged.

She was constantly growing in all areas because that was the essence of alchemy, though she had now been given a method to increase her physical strength in the future, just to balance things out since her improved energy control was more of a mental thing than anything else.

As an alchemist, Samus liked symmetrical and correct patterns. It's not like she had a bit of OCD and was using her passion for alchemy as an excuse.

When the railgun attacks were over, the ground beneath her feet shook again, this time sending up several clear crystals with strange arrangements inside, but they were perfect for what she was looking for.

Multitasking was something Samus hated because it ended up hurting her head, but she had to be completely serious if she didn't want Jorgen to have a bad opinion of her.

With the crystals floating in front of her, she waved her hand and manipulated them until they all surrounded Jorgen's position. The Supreme Fairy was not visible because of a pile of dust covering her figure, but she was there, her silhouette still standing tall.

The matrix that Samus had used energy to draw into the air was finally complete, and then it began to rotate rapidly counterclockwise, and at that moment, it seemed as if all the surrounding light was being absorbed by it.

As the entire battle arena seemed to be plunged into absolute darkness, a point of white light blossomed in the center of the alchemical array that had begun to rotate clockwise.

The faint glow illuminated Samus' blue eyes, which looked like two sapphires, adorning a mad expression, one of elation. Though she could shake the universe with preparation, fast-paced combat was another matter.

Though it was a one-person show for the time being, Samus showed what she was capable of. She pointed her wand at one of the crystals surrounding Jorgen, causing its matrix to eject all the sunlight it had accumulated.

The light quickly bounced off all the crystals, some of it being redirected to the next crystal, while the other part was directed at Jorgen. Then all the light suddenly converged on him.

Beads of sweat trickled down her forehead from the pressure she forced herself to endure to release all the best she could in such a short time, but she knew it wasn't enough.

How much combat experience would a being like Jorgen have? How much power did a being of his size possess? One look at Cosmo almost drove her crazy, and he was just one branch of the Strangle family.

Her happy smile turned into self-criticism as she knew that even her current efforts would not be enough to hurt a superior being. This meant that she would have to get her truly powerful technique out of storage.

An alchemical work that she had refused to use in combat in the past because of its lack of control and power, a work that would surely have endangered her if she had used it before the events that had occurred in this universe.

But... it was time to let it shine, after all, half a minute had already passed. With a small sigh on her part, Samus lifted her wand into the air and began to draw another alchemical matrix into the sky, but instead of a normal size, this one was huge.

How huge? It was 100 meters wide, and not only that, it was much more complicated than the last matrix she had made. But if Jorgen wanted her to use the best of herself, then with Samus' arrogance and pride ....

...she would throw a star at him.

By the time the matrix had finished forming, 40 seconds had passed. Jorgen had shaken off the annoying dust that surrounded him, revealing Samus in all her glory. His clothes were torn, his hair disheveled, but there were no wounds except for a few bruises.

He had endured hot metal balls at insane speeds, the concentrated glare of sunlight, and a super-hot plasma attack, but there was barely a dent in him. He didn't even bleed, which was a testament to his incredible ability.

To say that he was amazed was an understatement. He had expected such attacks from a mage or a being far more powerful than Samus, but it seemed that Samus' alchemy course was less exoteric and more scientific, but it was alchemy nonetheless.

Jorgen touched a particularly nasty bruise on his left arm and felt a twinge of pain at the touch, the mere fact of which had made the superior fairy think.

Sure, it was impossible for a mortal using mortal methods to hurt a superior being, but the universe loved exceptions like you have no idea.

Sword techniques made by mortals, capable of tearing through space, led Jorgen to hear about a human doing something like that in one of the many universes.

Magic was capable of wounding gods, there was a reason why god killers existed in many universes where magicians or people with magical powers had wounded or murdered gods. Jorgen knew of an Arcane Empire in some corner of the multiverse.

Then there were the alchemists, from those who had attempted to absorb higher beings to those who had captured divine or transcendent beings to use as batteries for their weapons.

The C'tan are that example, never messing with a race whose technology is considered magic and absurd powers by the rest of their galaxy. And while the Necrons weren't alchemists, they did things just as ridiculous.

Jorgen looked up to the sky and realized that something was about to be born. Yes, not created, transmuted, or any other typical alchemical work, the only correct word was born. Samus was about to give birth to something so powerful that even he felt a bit of danger.

That his senses felt danger made Jorgen smile, even though 50 seconds had passed, he wasn't afraid to move. No, he wanted to see, he wanted to experience what Samus was about to do.

After all, it wasn't the first time he had faced a star like the one in front of him.

Yes, Samus did the simplest thing of all in the future, fusing hydrogen and containing it properly. A small ball of white energy began to grow, the size of a marble at first, but even at that size, he could feel the power of the newborn star.

Through alchemy, energy manipulation, and a matrix, Samus began to devour all the free atoms in the air, leaving her without even enough oxygen to breathe. Even so, she had to rely on direct energy to provide enough hydrogen.

Thanks to a certain famous formula, everyone knows that energy can matter, so she did her best to mobilize all the energy in the environment to convert it into hydrogen. Something she always did in her attacks, but this time on a large scale.

All this ended with Samus and Jorgen seeing the growth of a bright star 10 meters in diameter. Samus was breathing heavily, one of her knees was on the ground, but her blue eyes were fixed on Jorgen.

"Maybe this deserves a name, but the coolest ones have already taken it, so let me give it a more literal one. Jorgen, try my... Stellar Birth," Samus said hesitantly before pointing to her target, the Supreme Fairy

Jorgen Von Strangle.

With five seconds left in the minute he had promised her, Jorgen waited for this tiny star to descend upon him. He felt its warmth, its energy, and the 'life' in it, and at that moment Jorgen understood on another level the madness inherent in every alchemist.

For only a madwoman like Samus, an alchemist, would launch something like this when she was so close to the impact.

AN: I love it when a character has attacks or abilities that reference the stars.
