It was morning and everyone in the Singh mansion were seated at the dining. The air felt hostile, that Samara could feel it. 

Her eyes moved towards her brother, who had his eyes on his food without sparing anyone a glance, not even her. She could tell that there was something wrong. 

Her eyes moved towards Mira who also was focused on her food. Neither of them said a word to each other. 

Or maybe she was wrong, maybe they were both tired, and needed rest. She creased her brows trying to figure out what was wrong. 

Arijit wiped his mouth with a small tissue on the table, he dropped his utensils and stood up, ready to leave.

"I'm running late for work," he said. 

"You're the CEO my son," Rajput noted. 

"I have a meeting with a few people today, I need to get prepared. Mira would be coming with me," he said and it was then Mira raised her head to look up at him.
